Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.
This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

Took the NCLEX-RN yesterday - what a horrible experience....despite everyone telling you you are going to KNOW with every fiber of your being that you failed...I guess since you've heard it so many times, you don't feel it's going to happen to you - you're "prepared." So not true...had a major internal meltdown...I did the PVT about 4 times last night and got the "good" pop-up ("already scheduled, contact your board, cannot reschedule") I along with several other people am using this as a good sign...basically the fact that it didn't want me to pay....BUT the waiting for your name to show up with a license number is torture....I was stressed of course, but could stay focused...when it went past 75 questions - that's when the meltdown (inside) started...a lot of it because nearly everyone before me got 75 q's and passed....so I just KNEW that I failed bc I went over 75....was EXTREMELY hard to focus after that....was going to take a break, but said "i'll do just one more question" - that continued to I think 83-84 then it shut off (equally as heart stopping)....so as everyone who did the trick and is/was waiting for your license nbr/results to post on the BON says....I don't really think it's "real" yet....cautiously optimistic....really don't know how I would study if I fail....this is one test that's nearly impossible to study for....and I spent A LOT of time studying....VERY disheartening and discouraging when you can't say that you "know" for sure that answer was correct for even ONE question!! Really strange torturous experience - God I hope that trick is right!!
I passed mine :w00t:! I took it on Dec. 20th and got the "old" good pop up so I wasn't sure. Then I saw my name on the CA BRN website about 3 days later. The funny thing is, I got my license in the mail 3 days later (same day I saw my name on the boards) but didn't receive my "official results" in the mail yet. weird?
Took my test yesterday around noon and I got the old good pop up... it says something like "Our current records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your board member for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." But I am noticing that others here recently have gotten a newer good pop-up saying that "this candidate has passed the exam, cannot reschedule at this time." I was just wandering if anyone in the last couple of weeks has gotten the old good pop up and still passed? Thanks so much.
I took the NCLEX RN exam today here in Vienna Va. The pop message is different. it says"Our records indicate you have recently scheduled this exam..." RECENTLY SCHEDULED AND NOT recently PASSED. ..Does this mean that I pass? Thank you very much for your replies.
how do you do this emoticons...its nice. I took my exam today jan 4, 2012...Im anxious as everyone else.....this is my 2nd attempt...and the computer stops at 103. I got the good old pop up message that says that your have recently SCHEDULED this exam....I hope I pass....still praying and anxious....
the credit card page is the most dreaded part of the PVT. The first time I took Nclex, I did the PVT and it brought me there. 2 weeks later I got the brown envelope which said I didn't pass. Is this your first time taking Nclex?
yes it is my first time. I thought just because I took it late so the office was closed they couldn't update my record. that's what I want to believe it. what do you think?
I'm not sure, I know pearson vue brings you to the cc page because you have to make a new registration for nclex. If you pass you get a message like "the candidate has previously passed the exam" and won't bring you to the cc page because there is no need for taking the nclex. But i may also be wrong hehe what were the resources you used to study the NCLEX? And was it hard oor easy to take? Keep me posted :)
It works!! It really works!! I'm in Ohio and took my boards Tuesday. Tuesday evening I did the PVT and received the original "good" message (the one about already having scheduled the exam) and found out Wednesday afternoon from the OBN that I PASSED!!!
