Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

I got 205 question when i took my NCLEX-PN saturday in ontario, california and I have been getting the same pop up as noted above, but i guess I wont believe it til my licence is in hand!

Have you checked the CA BON to see if you name is up? What day did you take it?

i took it saturday and i checked but i'm not there yet

Hey all! I'm sure this has been discussed MANY times (sorry, didn't feel like reading through all the pages of this post :p) but what if I got, I guess, the "old" good message? ("Our current records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your board member for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time"). Does this still mean I passed? Or could it be just a waiting period? (Took the NCLEX at noon today and finished around 4...)...Could the fact that I also tested in DC for a VA license affect anything? SO SCARED!

Took the CA NCLEX on Thursday, 12/8. Got the old, good pop up message 1 hour after my test. My name was finally posted on the BON today, Tuesday 12/13! SO relieved that I passed and that I can celebrate!

Took mine 12/01/2011 for NCLEX-PN in CA. I finished at 85 and I'm confident about it but you know...still waiting for official results. Anyone who took the same date as mine? I had it at Westlake; 08:00 AM.

Goodluck to all of us!!!

i took my nclex-rn for CA BON the first time last 12/10. 11.30pm and finished at 2.10pm. i did the pearson vue trick the next day coz im hesitant to do it at first. so when i did it it went to the CC page..so as far ive been reading all the threads here and elsewhere, i probably failed the test..of all the positive feedbacks..this would be a negative for me coz i know i already failed though the official result has not been receive yet. Thank you.

The pearson view trick was a little different for me. I took my NCLEX yesterday morning and I logged on in the afternoon to try the "trick". The "good pop up" came up. It was the one about "you've recently scheduled an exam, please contact the BON". So I kept trying all day, night, and today...still the same thing. My anxiety was through the roof. I even tried the license look-up on the BON site, got nothing. Well, I called the BON and talked to the operator and she was more than willing to help me out. She looked me up and in fact I had passed!!! I about fell on the floor! She said they had something wrong with my records, my social was off by 1 number and that's why my results weren't showing up online yet. So, I believe (as some people have stated) that the pop up that I got means that they're STILL processing your results. The pop up saying "this person has passed and another exam cannot be scheduled", THAT ONE means you've passed. And the CC# means you've failed. However, that's not always the case, I HAVE read about people getting the CC# and it changes to the pop up a day later and them passing. My advice, call your BON! You have to wait at least 24 hours though I think. I'm glad I did because I would have had to wait the whole holiday weekend! BTW, I passed with 75 questions and was sure that I had failed! Just think logically and make educated guesses! LOTS of SATA for me (felt like half of the exam were those) so study hard!

Good Luck To All!!!!

Another confirmed "pass" for the pearson vue trick, my wife took her NCLEX on Dec 22nd, and on the morning of Dec 27th her name showed up on the CA BON license page. She was so happy to get the confirmation, 75 questions, this was her 5th or 6th attempt, her last attempt was in 2004. She graduated overseas BSN in 1981. The key difference on her passing was she used a local tutor and used NCLEX study guide questions on her iphone.

Now it's my turn, I passed my LPN boards first try, but now I'm studying for my RN as well.

Good luck to all, the PVT does work, cool.

Tony

I took my NCLEX on Dec. 19 in CA (75 questions, half select all that apply ?s). I did the PVT the next day and got the good pop-up (...already been scheduled, contact the BRN...). I anxiously waited for my name to pop up on the BRN's website and nothing appeared. Friends of mine, who took the exam after me names started to appear on the BRN. So I thought maybe that PV changed and that the pop up didn't mean anything anymore and I must have failed. Days of checking the BRN, the PVT (still getting the good pop-up) and this website nothing still appeared. I contemplated calling the BRN but emailed them instead yesterday (12/30). I woke up this morning to a text from a friend congratulating me as an RN and she informed me that my name appeared on the website at 2ish am. So it took the BRN 11 days to process everything and submit my name. I can happily say that PVT works and that patience is a virtue!!!! :nurse:

I took the Nclex PN today. Did the trick and got I have already scheduled pop-up. I really hope I passed!
