1. Go to NCLEX Examinations :: Pearson VUE.
2. Select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3. Click 'register' on the right side.
4. Click the 'credit card' link.
5. Click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6. Enter your username.
7. Enter your password.
8. Click the button.
9. Click 'register' on the left side.
10. Select your test type.
11. Click the button.
12. Select your country.
13. Click the button.
14. Answer the yes/no questions.
15. Select your country again.
16. Select your state.
17. Type in your city.
18. Click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19. Select your school.
20. Select the month and year of your graduation.
21. Select your board of nursing.
22. Click the button.

Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.

This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.

i just took my nclex exam. my computer stopped at 75. I have around 10 SATA questions. Two exhibition and one med math. Honestly when my computer stopped i wanted to cry. my SATA questions were not consistent. I feel that i did really bad so i came home and try to register for the second exam on pearson vue. When i tried to register i got the pop saying "our record indicates you have recently scheduled this exam please contact your member board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time." I am not sure what does this mean? Does this trick still works. Honestly i think i failed

hi there! i was just wondering, did you get your result already? We are on the same boat, on the same day, on the same situation with the "good pop up".. but the thing is, it's been 48 hrs and yet when i go to my account in pearson vue, all i can get is "exam result is unavailable at this time".

It makes me really nervous and although I have the pop up, it doesn't stop my anxiety from attacking my heart and soul. hahah. so, do you have some insights or therapeutic communication that you may impart on my side? thanks. ?

dirkDobiegurl- I had to check my local state nursing board website. My license number was up before Person Vue posted my results. I was stalking both websites like every hour. I feel your anxiety, I woke up at 4:30am that day freaking out, doubting the PVT but it works hold on your almost there:)

I'm hoping so! I took the nclex today & the test shut off at 75. I got the good pop up. I used it last yr when I took the nclex pn and I got the good pop up as well. :) good luck!

Do you know when to check your name on the bon website for license verification?

It depends. My friend took the nclex on a Monday last yr, and on Tuesday her license # was on the BON website. Some states move pretty fast :) if you feel like you can't wait though, pay for the quick results if you're able to.
