Here are the exact steps to see if you passed the NCLEX exam on the Pearson Vue web site.
Updated:
Very important: At this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; it just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc.
This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'Records indicates you have recently registered for this test please contact BON. An appointment cannot be scheduled at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your Pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick.
Poll to take once you have received your response:

Hey everyone,, I did the nclex yesterday Aug 13th, it was a torture guys, all 265 questions, lots of sata and exhibits and putting things in order,, etc,, I freaked out thinking I failed, tried the PVT and god the "good pop up" should I still be worried? I need reassurance thanks everyone for the support
I sat for my PN boards on Aug 12 at 8 am, computer shut off at 85 and went to my car and did PVT and got the "good pop up". Found out this morning with quick results that I passed! I am still in denial until I get my official results though. I was a wreck after the test, I was sure I failed. The majority of the questions were multiple response and I had no idea what I was doing the whole time. I balled my eyes out in the car, even after getting the "good pop up".
Yes! I just did this trick last week and it worked! It has worked for everyone else in my class...now for the ones that it does let them keep registering and get credit card info, there is still hope, because that is when many times the trick has not worked... many have passed eventhough they were allowed to keep registering. On the contrary, for everyone that has not let them register...so far everyone has passed!!!! Congrats!
A good pop up tells you to contact a board member.
If you get a "hold" notice that does not mean anything, you still have to wait for the pop-up above or below.
The last and most feared PVT is the credit card page, if you see it then 99% of the time it means you have failed. I have seen one person who got that page and still passed..... So there is a chance that you could have still passed:)

That you rnlove4life,, I appreciate the reassurance,, iam sure that's what everyone needs to do,, from my previous experience, 3 attempts,, I would get to the credit card page and fail,, so if people get there and pass,, it's great,, but the good pop up still rocks,, congrats,, good luck

I believe it works as a lot of the people from my class that did it and passed got the good pop up, but I am still skeptical just because I am waiting for my results. I took my first NCLEX RN exam on 7-19-13. I got all 265 questions and went home...bummed I did the PVT and was taken to the CC page. The next day I paid the $8 for quick results and found out I failed. Today I took the exam for the second time and got the 265 questions. Nervous I went home immediately, made sure it said "delivery successful" and got the "good" pop up! I'm praying it worked because I can't imagine studying again!
