Pearson Vue Trick was WRONG!!!!!!!

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I was crying so much after doing the pearson vue trick. I followed every direction on how to obtain it. I made sure my status said DELIVERY IS SUCCESSFUL. It went through the credit card page. I tried it so many times. I made sure AGAIN that my status said delivery is successful. and AGAIN, it went to the credit card page. I thought I failed.

HOWEVER! I passed!!!!! I got the quick results and I passed.

Hey guys!

It's official I'm an RN!! Ok so I didn't do quick results, instead I check the Texas BON website and there it was my name and license #!!!!

So I took Nclex Tues n my license was posted by Thursday. Woohoo!!!

I'm a RN!!!

i just tried this trick as well and it just destroyed me i kept trying thinking i was seeing wrong but it keeps taking me to the credit card pagebut your saying that even though it did that to you. You still ended up passing I hope to God it is the same for me

I really really hope it does the same for me because i have taken this test before and i still hvnt got the error i hope this time that you are right and when i get the quick results it shows that i passed

Seems to me more and more obvious that if you want definitive answers (and everybody does) then it behooves you to calmly, maturely wait for the 48-72 hours for the BoN to post your name. Where is it written that immediate gratification is god-given, necessary to continuing to breathe, or career-determining? Do you always get what you want immediately? No? And what happens if you don't? Do you, like, get a lot of attention for your hyperventilation, is that it? Silly. ?

Fergawdsakes, all, listen to yourselves. You sound like middle-schoolers waiting for the results of cheerleader tryouts to get posted. 72 hours, people, 72 hours, of which a third will be spent in sleep. ? Stop agonizing over the PVT and be willing to get the real answer from the only place it counts. You have long, long careers ahead of you. Three days is nothing.

I believe in the PVT and completely understand why so many aspiring nurses are eager to get their results. Like others have mentioned, I have never seen anyone get the good pop up and later find out they did not pass. Recently, I told a coworker about the trick- well, let me just say- she was livid after her test even though she passed. She was trying to explain to me that the trick is not valid because in order to retake the test you have to contact your member board and so the pop up doesn't mean anything at all. I just let it go- no sense trying to explain it to her. Even nursing schools will email all their students about the trick and then follow up with a survey. There is plenty of evidence that it works. WE are like middle-schoolers waiting for the results of cheerleader tryouts to get posted! This is a life changing step. Nursing school was h3!! and to be able to just breathe that moment when you find out you passed the NCLEX is amazing. To have that hope from the good pop up is like coming up from underwater for the past two years (or more in some cases). I think a lot of people with test anxiety can't differentiate between amI doing poorly because this isn't my thing or is it my test anxiety. We doubt ourselves and we need all the hope we can get. And like other posters have said, not all states have the 48-72 hour turnaround for results on the BON. Not even all states have the 48 hour quick results. So, I understand those that are hyperventilating and at the same time I get what you are saying, GreenTea. Koodos to you for being so confident and able to maintain your composure. I wish I could feel like that. (seriously, do not portray this as sarcasm!) The NCLEX and nursing school were somewhat traumatic for me and to know that it was over when I got the good pop up- and then to know it really was true two days later from the BON- was such a relief.

Ah, see, I'm one of the old bats. After walking uphill to school for four years in the snow, we had to take what were then called State Boards and they were offered only twice a year. Period. Two full days of sitting in a big, big space with (in my case) all the new grads from the entire state-- many slept in campers in the parking lot because they came from so far away. Pencil and paper, multiple choice, five sections: peds, OB, medical, surgical, psych. Late? Sorry, no entry. See you in six months. Pass all 5 or so sorry, try again in six months. MA, NY, and CA had higher passing scores requirements than all the rest of the states, so if you didn't make their score you had no chance of getting licensed in any of those three unless you took them all again. My class graduated in mid-May and our test was in July. We got our results in ... October.

So, all you hyperventilators ? -- were we any better or different at all from you? Were we less nervous, less needy, less able to compensate? Did we have nervous breakdowns? crying jags? terror? Freak-outs? Ummm, no.Were we older or younger? Maybe younger, so maybe less mature? -- most of us went to college or nursing school right out of high school. And wasn't it just as big a deal, getting a license? Wasn't it the culmination of all our hard work and sacrifice for years and years? Same as it is for everyone now? Of course, no different at all.

So ... tell me again why the confidence and composure seems so ... aberrant these days. That's what I want to know. Or maybe there are really a lot of new grads who have inherent confidence and composure, and just get on with it, and we just don't hear from them on AN. Or maybe ... everyone could choose to do that. Wouldn't that be refreshing? ? Help me out on this one.

Thank you for posting this! im hoping for the same results that you had! Went to the cc page :(

hi guys this is my first post on this website, I just signed up. I took my RN exam today and it went all the way up to 265 questions!!! It was painful, I was there for 5 1/2hrs and to be honest with you I think I failed, I have been feeling very down all day. I just tried the so-called trick from my phone and it says delivery successful Iand then I tried tee-registering, got the so called good popup window, its very encouraging based on all the comments that I have read here but I still don't want to get my hopes too high just yet.... anyway good luck to everyone and if you have comments it words of encouragement I'm all ears !!

Take care.

I have been reading many posts in regards to the accuracy of the PV trick, so far everyone that has NOT being able to continue to register up to the credit card info, have actually passed-including myself. However, a good handfull of the ones that were allowed to continue to register and therefore, it seemed they failed, they actually passed. So I believe that its's almost 100% accurate when it does not let you register, but there is hope when it lets you because that is when it is not as accurate!

hi i took my test today and went to the cc page.. i hope i passed and the trick was false in my case!!!

I hope you guys are right!! I took the test today....265 questions!! Ugh! I thought I was going to die! But I did the PVT & it says "delivery successful" & I got the "good pop-up"!!! I'm excited! But trying not to get my hopes up too soon!!! These next 2 days are going to be the longest ever!!

I just want to share I took my NCLEX-RN and it shut off at 75 questions. I thought I must have failed and left there feeling defeated. I checked the Pearson Vue trick about 10 minutes later and got the "good popup!" I was still not convinced however until I checked two days later for my Quick Results. The trick worked in my case!
