Got the good pop up too. I took the exam earlier today. I am taking for a license in Chicago but i took my exam in California testing center. Where will check my name? Chicago site or california site?

Whichever Board of Nursing you expect will issue you a license. And if I undertand your post correctly, that's Illinois.

I just wanted to let you guys know that as of June 26, the trick still works. I tried it about an hour after taking the exam and I got the "good pop up," and the next day my license number was on the BON website! Yay!

I find it weird that day after day people are posting "it still works!!" Of course it works....at least, as much as it ever did. Why would that change? Answer: it won't. The software is what it is. But I guess if it makes people feel better to post "it still works!" then.. post away :)
A couple of notes, because I'm noticing a trend in this thread: whether you got the last question right or wrong is irrelevant. It's a statistical outcome that is needed, and it is never (HAS never) been based on a single question.
Of course you can pass at 265 questions; if everyone who got to 265 questions failed, what does that say about the test? It's absurd. Yes, you pass at 265, AND you can fail at 265.
Based on the non-scientific "everybody in my class did it and it was right", the PVT always looked like a good bet to rely on. And mostly, it IS correct. But based on the equally unscientific (but more widely-participated in survey) on this site, it's somewhere around 90% accurate. Nine out of ten got the 'correct' popup for what actually happened to them. That's very comforting when you expect good results, get a good popup...and pass. I still feel for those who rely on it ("it works!!!") and then are crushed when the 'popup' is wrong.
Everyone testing now: hang in there. You got through school. You got through the nightmare of studying and worrying...you're ready to become nurses! Calm down, focus on what you need to do to pass that hideous test....and become my colleague :)

yes the test is statistical but if you get the last question right... It makes sense for the. Test to continue or stop because it's determined that you are a safe nurse. It does not make sense that you would answer itright and the test shut off and fail you. Essentially you have just increased your average so it should allow you at least one more question.

OMG Pearson view trick works!! I tested on Monday... CRIED so much after. I actually CHOKED on a med math! they were like drop factor is 60. and that's it! I was like shoot what goes under that 60!!?? 60 per what!! :nailbiting: and actually guessed and moved on bc I was taking too long ..went past 76 and my heart dropped! shut down on 85! I cried and cried.. did the trick and got good pop up! ...prayed and prayed and paid to see that I PASSED!! couldn't freakin believe it! ..honestly Kaplan wasn't the same at all but notes and material/rationale helped .. I sat for the exam in Virginia to be licensed in TX. Took NCLEX-RN on Thursday morning. Waited all of 5 minutes before I was trying the "trick". I got the good message. Official results from BON took 10 days.

Nclex trick= $0.00

Unofficial results from Pearson Vue= $8.00

Peace of mind knowing I passed NCLEX= PRICELESS

Took mine in NY, Wednesday 7/2 at 8 am...of course my 48 hours was gonna be on a holiday weekend! Got the good pop up and this morning, just so everyone knows, you can still get quick results on a national holiday! I passed!

Hello guys! Anyone of you here who knows someone who took the NCLEXRN with more than 265 items? I'm in deep trouble now. My BON doesn't support Quick Results so I'm left with no choice.

Took my NCLEX-PN yesterday. I am miserable for the holiday weekend and just praying that the system will automatically post my results tomorrow 7/5. I keep getting the "GOOD" pop up and i've done it probably close to 50 times since yesterday. I felt so awful after the test that I almost cried. So anyway two questions, Does anyone know if the results will post on a holiday weekend? And if so is it actually 48 hours AFTER you completed the exam of 48 hours from the scheduled time of testing? Mine was 2pm on 7/3. Thank you for your responses. Just like everyone else I am freaking out and convinced I failed.

From what people have been saying it sounds like the holiday and weekend don't actually matter and we should have our unofficial results today at 2:01pm. :nailbiting:

I took NCLEX-RN on June 26, 2014. I was shut off at 75, and left the testing center crying because I really thought I had bombed it. I tried the trick immediately and was given the good pop up. 48 agonizing hours later, I paid for quick results and found out I passed. I still didn't believe it 100%. On Tuesday, my name was on TX BON website!
