Pearson Vue trick 2014 -still works!

Published

I took my NCLEX in AL yesterday and as soon as it said delivery successful, I tried the trick and I got the good pop up!! Then today when I looked on the AL Board of Nursing my name is listed as an active RN as of today!! :) So the trick works still as of 1/9/14. I still cannot believe I'm officially a Registered Nurse!!

Pearson Vue trick works in CA. Took the test on the June 18th and my license showed up the boards on the 20th. I was very surprised that CA posted it so quickly.

Took mine today got the good pop up had 75 question's. I don't know if 75 is good but I will have to wait till Monday

I took NCLEX on June 20th, walked out of the exam and checked Pearson Vue 10 minutes later. I saw that it said "delivery successful" so I tried the trick and I got the good pop-up! I found out 5 hours later that my license was posted and active online! It works :)! Take peace in that little pop-up!

I took mine 5 days ago at 5 pm. I had 265 questions and I was in there for 3 1/2 hours (with no breaks). Did the PVT right after and got the good pop-up. I kept checking it all night because couldn't sleep! The next day around 3 pm, my status on my state's BON website changed to RN! So the trick still works and YES you can pass with 265 questions!!!

Worked for me! Took NCLEX on Sat 6/21. Got the god pop up right away and throughout the weekend. Woke up today and my license was posted on CA Breeze website!

Yep me too! It worked my name is listed as RN on bon

So... I took my nclex-rn Monday at 8am. It stopped at 75. I knew for sure my last question was right... Did the trick and got the good pop up. At work and checked the BRN and they issued my license! The trick worked for me!

I took my test yesterday at 8 am finished around 1140 am about 130 questions. I have been doing the PVT since yesterday at 3 pm and I keep getting the "good pop up", but still no license listed on VBON website or NCSBN!!! This is killing me!! Oh and of course VA does not do the quick results!!!! WTH!! Can you cut a girl some slack!!!:drowning:

I know in my state it was about four days before my license was on my BON site. It can take awhile.

As of June 29, 2014 the Pearson Vue Trick still works! I took my NCLEX at 11:00 am on Friday the 27th, got 75 questions, and tried the Pearson Vue Trick several times once it said "delivery successful" and got the good pop up "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled an appointment. Another appointment cannot be made at this time" or something like that. 48 hours later, I PASSED! Just a tip though, if you do take your exam on Friday, even in a state like Washington (where I am) that updates their statuses very quickly on the BON website, nobody works on the weekends so you will have to wait the 48 to get the results from Pearson!

I can also confirm that it worked for me. I got my quick results this morning. I passed

I find it weird that day after day people are posting "it still works!!" Of course it works....at least, as much as it ever did. Why would that change? Answer: it won't. The software is what it is. But I guess if it makes people feel better to post "it still works!" then.. post away :)

A couple of notes, because I'm noticing a trend in this thread: whether you got the last question right or wrong is irrelevant. It's a statistical outcome that is needed, and it is never (HAS never) been based on a single question.

Of course you can pass at 265 questions; if everyone who got to 265 questions failed, what does that say about the test? It's absurd. Yes, you pass at 265, AND you can fail at 265.

Based on the non-scientific "everybody in my class did it and it was right", the PVT always looked like a good bet to rely on. And mostly, it IS correct. But based on the equally unscientific (but more widely-participated in survey) on this site, it's somewhere around 90% accurate. Nine out of ten got the 'correct' popup for what actually happened to them. That's very comforting when you expect good results, get a good popup...and pass. I still feel for those who rely on it ("it works!!!") and then are crushed when the 'popup' is wrong.

Everyone testing now: hang in there. You got through school. You got through the nightmare of studying and worrying...you're ready to become nurses! Calm down, focus on what you need to do to pass that hideous test....and become my colleague :)
