Hi everyone! I am from California and tested in San Diego on Feb. 18th @ 8am. This is my second time taking the NCLEX-RN. The first time I took it I got 265 took about 4 hours to complete it and I failed. I tried the trick and the CC page kept coming up. About 3 days later I received an official letter that said I failed. This time around I tested got 265 questions again and took 5 hrs to complete it. I got home and got the GOOD POP UP. From reading all the comments I want to celebrate but unfortunately I still dont know if i officially passed. Today is Feb. 22 and i have yet to receive a letter or to see my name on the BON-California. California does not participate in quick results so the anxiety is killing me. Is anyone from California?? and if so, how recently did you test and how long did it take to get your official results???? Any answers/ comments will be appreciated
I just took my exam on 2/24/14 and have gotten the "good pop-up" message......my name & license number is still not posted on the NV BON, so I'm freaking out as some of my classmates that tested the same day have had their name/license posted. I only got 75 questions. Is the PVT trick accurate, I'm a wreck and can't sleep or eat.....HELP!
Hi all, took my NCLEX (for the second time) this morning. It shut off at 90-something questions.. tried the PVT and got the "good" pop-up.
I just wanted to share that I do know of at least 2 instances (for sure) where the trick DID NOT work. In other words, 2 friends of mine got the "good" pop up when they tried to register and later found out that they failed. The reason for the 'fake out' in both cases was a technical error with their hand-print on the electronic scanner device at the beginning of the appointment.
From what I've gathered, the VAST MAJORITY of the time the PVT does work, but there are rare instances where it doesn't. I'm in CT.. not sure if it's just our test centers that are screwy or not.
Wish I could relax, SO nervous. I'll come back and update once I find out my results

The trick did not work for me the first time I took the test. Was very disappointed. I was so nervous I used up ALL 6 hours!!!
Got the good pop up, wouldn't let me register and then I found out I failed by quick results service.
Second time around I was able to pass with flying colors at 75 questions with the help of a great tutor from MGH by the name of Mary Jane Scott. Anyone near boston needs help passing the NCLEX she's the lady to go to! Great passing rate 90%+ and she almost exclusively worked with people who have failed at least 1 time previously.
