Thought I'd start a 2014 PVT poll

"Good" pop up says: "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

"Test on hold" pop up says: "The candidate currently has test results that are on hold"

"Credit card page": takes you to the credit card page to make a payment.

All smiles right here!!! Tested on 6-24. Computer shut off at 75 questions. I was scared out my mind. I couldn't stop shaking until after I left the testing center. Found a computer and tried to register. It wouldn't let me. I had to be sure so I waited for the unofficial results (the longest 48 hours of my life!!) Paid for the quick results and it said status: PASSED!!!! I am so excited. The PVT worked for me!

Hello all! Finally decided to sign-up to allnurses.com and share my own experiences.

I took the NCLEX today (6/25) and in less than 20 minutes after completing all 265 questions (!), my status changed to "Delivery Successful". I attempted to re-register and got the "good pop-up" (Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration cannot be made at this time.). So I'm hoping this means I passed!

Thanks to everyone who shared their PVT experiences. I can definitely sleep a little better tonight. I'll keep all of you updated!

PVT still works! Found out today through the "Quick Results" that I have definitely passed the NCLEX. Such a great feeling. Good luck to all you out there still waiting. You'll do great!

PVT worked for me! Took the test 6/26/2014 around noon, and was SURE I failed when the computer shut off at ~160 questions. I didn't even know about the trick until a friend told me to go home and try it. She said that her friend immediately got the CC page and failed and that she did it and got the "good pop up" and passed. I immediately rushed home, confirmed delivery and got the good pop up. I prob tried to re-register about 100 times in the last 48 hours, couldn't even sleep last night :( FINALLY paid the 8 bucks today....passed! I am very relieved, but I do want to say....if you think you failed, hang in there you may be surprised. AND if you DID fail, have no fear! That test is awful, does not measure your intelligence and if you can persevere through nursing school for 2 years there is nothing you cannot do! Pick yourself up and try that beast of an exam again! You got this :)

I got the "good" pop-up after my test on Thursday, and my license number posted to the CA BRN website this morning! So it was correct for me!! :-)

Took the NLCEX last monday and it shut off at 75 questions. Ran out of there and did the PVT so many times over the next 24 hours and got the 'good pop up' each time. Less than 24hours later- my license number was up on the MBON, and that was a day before the option of the quick results was available. So check the BON sites to see if a license number generates for you if you are still waiting on the quick results. Saves you a few bucks and maybe a days worth of fretting!

Best of luck to you all!

took the nclex rn for california on july 23rd. got the good pop up and saw my name posted in breEZe website july 27 early morning.. havent received the official results thru mail yet though.

Tested 6/25 @ 8am. Ran out of time at 199, 6 hours later. Took one short break. Good pop up 30 minutes after I tested. Was, still 1000% sure that I failed. Moped around for 48hrs & finally quick results were avail. Name still isn't up on the PA BON but quick results confirms that I passed. Hopefully it's posted by Monday!! PVT worked for me 2 years ago for my LPN & then again for my RN. Rest at ease if you got the good pop up. If not, it can always be taken over. At least it isn't nursing school!

IN CANDIDATES: Save yourself additional stress and anxiety -dont even worry about the PVT!!! I took the NCLEX-RN 7-1-14 at 8am. I got the good pop-up, but THEN stressed as to whether it worked bc my neighbor down the street (attended a different school) got the cc page, yet passed! I was additionally annoyed with the 48hr Quick View wait time! Luckily, the IN.gov license search page posted my license # by noon 7-2-14 (and emailed the notification letter at 4p) - YES I PASSED! It hasnt been 48hrs, so STILL NOTHING on the Pearson site!

I cant speak for other states, but it seems that IN is fast at issuing licensing numbers,. Therefore, instead of stressing about the PVT and Pearson site, dont forget to look on the IN.gov site! Best Wishes to ALL!

I am a new member, so I'm not sure how to register my choice in this poll. As of 07/03/2014, the PVT is seemingly alive and well. Four-and-a-half hours, and 265 questions later, I tried the PVT as soon as I got back to my car. Unfortunately, it kept taking me to the CC page. I was hoping by some miracle it was wrong, but just found out today through Quick Results that I have failed. :( I did in-class Kaplan, ATI, and a three-work course of NCSBN.

It's been really depressing for me. My wife and I just moved back to New Mexico, and she never could find a job so she decided to go back to school full-time thinking I would begin my career as a nurse soon. I was hired by a facility as a graduate nurse, and have worked a few weeks under that license. However, once you fail the NCLEX, your graduate nurse permit is rescinded. So, now that my permit is void, I cannot work at my facility until I pass the NCLEX. I also don't think cannot work as a CNA, because I doubt anyone would hire a newly graduated BSN, knowing they are a short-timer looking for a temporary job. So now we're both out of a job, and at this point my wife cannot even get one because she is taking three classes this summer.

If anyone has any coping suggestions, and studying strategies, please let me know.

Also, is there anyone from New Mexico who knows timeline of the process for re-application?

I've filled out all the paperwork and am mailing it Monday, but would just like to know how long it takes to get my new ATT. And when they grant me a new ATT, will I be able to reschedule 45 days from my test date (45 days from 07/03), or is it 45 days from the date of issue of the new ATT (45 days from, say, 07/21)?

Thanks so much!

PVT worked for me! Tested July 1, got good pop-up. 48 hours to the minute after I finished the exam, paid for the quick results and found out I passed. Still nothing on BON site.

PVT worked for me!!! Took my test on 7/3/14 shut off on 85 questions, finished at 10am and when I got home by 11am did the PVT and got the good pop up!!! Still worried and was able to do the Quick view from Pearson and I passed 7/5/14!! Woo Hoo!!!

Took the boards on July 3rd, 2014. Got the "on hold" pop-up. Since it was 4th of July weekend this past weekend my results still weren't up and the pearson vue trick just kept saying on hold. This morning i get a phone call from a friend saying you should probably check the state board of nursing website....because your name is on there and your a registered nurse! Such an amazing feeling and thank you to everyone on this site!
