Thought I'd start a 2014 PVT poll

"Good" pop up says: "Our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. Another registration cannot be made at this time."

"Test on hold" pop up says: "The candidate currently has test results that are on hold"

"Credit card page": takes you to the credit card page to make a payment.

took my boards this morning at 8:00 and have been getting the "good pop-up" since I walked out of the testing center. Went all the way to 260-something questions - I really hope this trick is right because I do not care to sit through that test again!!!! The trick worked for me several years ago when I took my LPN boards and I passed.

This still works. I tested on Saturday and it would not let me register. I paid for quick results and found that I had passed. The rationale behind it is that registered nurses are prohibited from taking the NCLEX, so if you pass, you can't take it again.

PVT worked for me! took the NCLEX RN on July 2nd, was sure I had failed, had 75 ?s and got the good pop up. found out on Friday the 4th that I had passed! still nothing on the BON website for NYS

First of all I would like to thank everyone on this site. This site has kept me sane since last Tuesday 7/1/14 when I took the NCLEX-RN. I told my classmates that I would not try the PVT, but after the computer cut off at 75 questions, I decided to do it. I took my test at 8a and I tried the PVT at 1130a. I was so nervous. I tried to prepare myself for the worst situation. When I tried to re-register, the hold pop-up appeared. I was in limbo. I didn't know how to feel. I checked the VA BON website...nothing. I checked a few more times that day and the hold never went away. I tried Wednesday, same thing. I felt like I was floating. Thursday, same thing. On Friday 7/4/14 I tried before the rest of the household woke up and the good pop up came up. After waiting so long I did not want to jinx myself so I played it cool. I knew that it was a holiday and the weekend so I tried my best to put it in the back of my head. This morning 7/7/14, I tried the PVT again, the good pop-up was there but when I checked the BON, nothing but my expired LPN license. So I called the VA BON and spoke with a live person. I gave her my SSN and she said "the reason why nothing is listed on the site is because we received your results this morning. You passed". I was beyond happy. This has been the longest 6 days of my life but I'm thrilled. I'm a pessimist. I admit that I was skeptic about the pvt, but it worked for me. I took the poll and voted 'results on hold but passed'. I think the reason my results were on hold was the palm scanning at the Pearson site. I had to repeat the scan at least three times with both hands. The representative from VA BON said that more than likely my license will appear on the site tomorrow. I really thought I failed. I prayed that I would get 75 questions after two of my classmates got 265. After question 74, I was praying for more because I felt that I was doing horribly. When I got the blue screen after question 75, I sat there like someone had just shot me. I cried in the car and when I arrived at the house. I felt empty. I couldn't eat or anything. On Wednesday I got up and gave myself a pep talk, 'expect the worst, hope for the best'. Taking the NCLEX is a truly humbling experience, especially when you do not receive your results within 24-48 hours. Good luck to all future NCLEX (PN and RN) takers. :-)

As of 7/9/2014, the PVT still works!!! I took my PN exam for Illinois 2 days ago and 30 minutes after I completed the test, I checked and received the "good pop-up." This is what really helped me sleep at night. So any who, 1 hour ago today, I officially passed!!!! I can finally relax!!!! :)

Just took the NCLEX-RN, it stopped at 75 questions which means I either failed or passed spectacularly. I got the "good" pop-up, but am still skeptical of its' accuracy and terrified that I did not pass after my months of studying.

Hey, I just took the exam as well, shut off at 75 and I thought I failed miserably because nothing seemed close to the practice kaplan questions and all the SATA's, I felt like it was almost every question. I kept praying they would stop but they kept coming. Went home and got the "good pop up" like 5 times already.

I took the Nclex today 7/9/14 in Washington state. I also had the "good message" pop shortly after taking the exam. To those who didn't: don't despair. I realize that may be easy to say, but that test is HARD. I don't feel Kaplan or ATI questions adequately prepare us. I scored very highly on all the Nclex test prep material, but the questions were so EASY compared to the NCLEX. I went into the test with low stress and very confident. It quickly wilted away somewhere mid test. I ended up with like 130+ questions before it shut off. That was the most frustrating testing experience of my life, bar none. I had a massive headache that lasted for about 6 hours post test.

Here is to hoping the trick works. I don't think I personally have the stamina to retake that test. Good luck to the rest of the 2014 graduates.

Got the good pop-up and passed.

Got the good pop up and passed! 75 questions with at least 60 of them SATA. I swear they must give partial credit for those types of questions because there were only 2 that I was certain on.

Seriously. I walked out of that test so fatigued, and mine shut off at 75 questions! I definitely do not want to have to take it again. I wish there were a way to find out definite results sooner than 24 hours.

I felt like that too more than half my exam was SATA and I thought they must give partial credit because there was nothing I was 100% about except for the med questions, luckily they were all meds I heard of, and one of the multiple choice was similar to a kaplan or lacharity ques (not sure which one), but the rest I was completely not sure about at all.
