I wanted to give a quick update to the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT) 2017. While looking for if the "trick" still worked, I didn't see much updated info, and wanted to hopefully alleviate some stress on new grads. I took NCLEX Jan 10th 2017, and got all 265 questions. I started at 8am and finished around 11am. I came home and cried my eyes out thinking I failed, because I assumed getting all the questions was a bad thing. Long story short I tried the PVT by trying to reregister for nclex at about 2pm (I told myself I was going to wait until the next day, but I just couldn't!). I used a current credit card, but put in the incorrect exp date and cvc. I got the "good popup" but wasn't convinced. The good pop up says something about you have already registered for the test blah blah and will not take your money. I tried again later in the evening, maybe around 6ish and got the same result. I was slightly more hopeful, but still not convinced. In Wisconsin we have an OLAS application website I checked also, and next to my nclex results it turned green and said met. At exactly 8am the next day I got the official email from the State of Wisconsin that I had passed, and contained my RN number. I also bought the quick results which said pass.... Soooo long story short the PVT worked for me in 2017!
Hey everyone, am really worried, I took my NCLEX-RN on June 20, 2017 in CA. An hour after the test I did the Pearson vue Trick (PVT) and got the good pop up. its been almost 3 days and my license not posted on BON website. My first question is how long does it take for CA BON till they post the license or update their system? and if I got the good pop up that stats "our record indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Another registration can not be made at this time". what are the chances of passing or failing? I been doing the PVT all day everyday, day and night and I still receive the same message the good pop up. Thank you for your help and good luck to everyone.
I took my NCLEX this morning at 8am and finished at around 930 in 80 questions. Felt like I was guessing on almost all of them. A couple of people told me about the trick and I tried it out and changed the expiration date and it told me to contact my bank. I used a gift card with a couple bucks on it and it just put an alert sign on my page and locked my account. Am no longer sure if I passed or failed. I heard that if you put the correct credit card info in and it declines it you passed but I was wondering, since I changed both the expiration date and the security code and it said the card was not correct, did I fail?
Hey rgmrn, I took mine the same day and got the good pop up as well. Did you receive your results yet. Am really worried because today is going to be my 4th day and I haven't received anything and nothing posted on the CA BON. How long does it take CA BON to post the license?
Hello, Kevin(n)1987, I, too, find myself in the same situation you find yourself in. I took my NCLEX-RN here in Southern California on Tuesday, June 20th. I tried the PVT twice a few day after and received the "good pop-up." I have still received no official confirmation of my results and it's been nearly 6 days. I am curious if you have receive anything yet or are still waiting for results.
I just too my NCLEX RN this morning. Got 75 questions. The trick with Peason Vue gave me the "good" popup! Lets hope it is right! I will update when I know for sure!
Hello jayhagan15, it's going to be a week tomorrow and I haven't received mu transcripts and nothing is posted on the BON website. Hopefully today the website get updated.
Kevin(n)1987 and jayhagan15...I am in the same boat! I took mine on June 20th and still nothing!! I have had the "good" pop-up, though I really feel that is not all that accurate. I think it is a better sign that we have not received a fail report in the mail because I think those come really quickly. All of my classmates have received their results in 2-4 days so this is super frustrating!! I stopped at 75, lots of SATA...I just really believe that I passed. This waiting game is THE WORST!! Why Cali doesn't do quick results is beyond me.
Just took my NCLEX today and had all 265 questions...felt utterly devastated and attempted the PVT trick around 40 minutes after the test on my phone.
I got the good pop-up but still felt unsure. Went back home and literally tried the PVT trick every hour, same credit card, just changed the CVC and expiration date...still good pop-up.
I'm still apprehensive about how accurate the trick is and will follow up on my results tomorrow - I'm testing for VA and have heard results are available via phone-call within 24 hours so fingers crossed!
