Pearson Vue Trick 2015 Latest

Updated:   Published

Hi Everyone,

First, I just want to thank everyone that comes to this website to share his or her experience. This website literally keeps people alive and going during some tough times. You might not know it, but there are tens of people out there that quote this website each day.

My journey with the Nclex-RN in California started on the 2th of December. I took the Nclex, I went home and tried the PVT, and it gave me the good pop-up. 24 hours and 4 days later, I was still getting the good pop-up. A week passed and no result or license, I was anxious to say the least, as some of my classmates got their license within 48 - 72 hours after taking the exam.

I always came to this website to get some courage as the weeks rolled by. Finally on 31st of December, I got my license. The long wait was over.

My main reason of writing today is that through my experience, I found out that the pearson vue trick is not a trick. It is the way the computer is programmed. If one fails the Nclex, it will take your money or decline your card accordingly (for insufficient funds or being invalid). The so called trick works perfectly.

Secondly, If you live in California, and you get the good pop-up after 24 hours of taking the Nclex, you passed. The waiting time has to do with the BRN taking so much time to process files. Keep strong and keep faith, you will get your license.

I got my letter exactly one week after:unsure:I didn't pass. I'm bummed, but I have to keep going! Will be ready in 45 days to try for the 3rd time! I can't believe I was "near the passing standard" in all of the content sections!

Feeling a bit defeated but I know God has big plans for me and it's all about the right time. 3rd times a charm right!?

I got my letter yesterday too. Nothing left to do but continue on and Yes, test sooner than later!!! I am frusterated bc I had a mixture of scores on my performance report...and if I compare them with my previous tests, they jump around. There's hardly any consistency ?

@mrsboots87, did you know anyone personally that this happened to? I was to impatient and did the PVT. I got my payment submitted, really hoping its a case where its wrong. $200 is alot but I was a ball of nerves. I did the PVT as soon as i got home which was less than an hour after the exam.

Lizbeth, I just posted to you on another thread, but saw this here. YES, it does happen, people have posted on this forum about it (as well as PM'ing me so as to not be embarassed on the public board), and you don't want to share their pain if you can help it. PLEASE don't do the PVT again. In the first place, you did it too early to have had your exam scored twice, which means that by NOT paying $200 you have a decent indication your first score was a 'pass'. ALL you will do if you do it again is chance Pearson Vue accepting the money you are submitting to them, and it is non-refundable.

If your State participates in Quick Results, pay the eight bucks and get the official 'pass/fail' result of your test. THAT is not a 'trick', it's a fee-for-service and it's legitimate.

If you don't have QR, hang tight!

RNsRWe i tried PMing you and because I am a new user I could not. I apologize for bringing the subject up again. I did read every possible entry about getting your money taken, just didn't see where anyone said it out right that they paid and passed. thank you for responding so quickly.

You're very welcome.

I promise you it's there, sometimes there are new topics or new people posted on existing threads, and I believe that's the case with the most recent ones I mentioned.

Good luck! ?

You relieved some of my anxiety! Either outcome , trying to stay positive. If I have to retake it , its paid for :shy:

Did you pass? I just took the NCLEX-RN yesterday and got 265 questions. I used the PVT and I got the good pop up. I'm nervous because this is the second time I have taken the NCLEX. The first time I got 75 questions, checked the PVT, and got the BAD pop up. So now I am freaking out.

Drkelley18 I did not pass, so I would believe that you passed this time!! congrats!

I took the nclex-pn exam today at 0800 and my computer cut off at 85 questions which is the least amount of questions that you can receive in louisiana the max is 205. I left out of that testing center feeling devestated that I had failed the test. After reading all the comments and remarks I was tempted to try the pearson vue trick but was skeptical and didnt want to make a mess of things. But after I arrived to work where I work with a lot of RN's, they persuaded me to go ahead and do it. At 1900 I submitted my information and I used a prepaid card and got the good pop up screen. I tried again at 2300 and still got the good pop up screen. I'm praying that everything is correct and that I passed. Will keep everyone posted!

Congrats on passing! But why would you risk losing $200 by doing the PVT WAAAYYY too early? Doing it again at 24 hours only increased the chance that you'd lose that money.
