Hi Everyone,
First, I just want to thank everyone that comes to this website to share his or her experience. This website literally keeps people alive and going during some tough times. You might not know it, but there are tens of people out there that quote this website each day.
My journey with the Nclex-RN in California started on the 2th of December. I took the Nclex, I went home and tried the PVT, and it gave me the good pop-up. 24 hours and 4 days later, I was still getting the good pop-up. A week passed and no result or license, I was anxious to say the least, as some of my classmates got their license within 48 - 72 hours after taking the exam.
I always came to this website to get some courage as the weeks rolled by. Finally on 31st of December, I got my license. The long wait was over.
My main reason of writing today is that through my experience, I found out that the pearson vue trick is not a trick. It is the way the computer is programmed. If one fails the Nclex, it will take your money or decline your card accordingly (for insufficient funds or being invalid). The so called trick works perfectly.
Secondly, If you live in California, and you get the good pop-up after 24 hours of taking the Nclex, you passed. The waiting time has to do with the BRN taking so much time to process files. Keep strong and keep faith, you will get your license.
I took my exam today NCLEX-RN. Almost 5 hours and 265 questions :/ My brain is mashed potatoes. I went to the store and bought groceries feeling super sad about my life and how hard I studied. I did over 2500 questions in two months prepping for this exam. My cousin told me about this Pearson Vue Trick. I got the "good" pop up. We shall see when the results are legit my feeling isn't good. I took the NCLEX - PN 6 years ago and that test was hard to me too.

I hope that's the case. I got the good pop ups twice and it didn't accept my mom's credit card.

Really? I didn't try the PVT after I took my test on March 21st. I think I tried using the trick after March ended and when I registered, they didn't accept my money.
Hi guys, I took the test on the 16th of April @ 0800. My test stopped @ 75 questions but I was very depressed after the test stopped as I was not confident on my performance. I never tried the PVT after my test up until my girlfriend persuaded me to do so 24 hours later. I checked it yesterday around noon and i got the "good" pop up. Its the 18th of April today so its been 48 hours now and I checked it earlier and still got the good pop up however i keep checking BRN (Cali) and I cannot find my name yet. I still am hoping for positive results and I hope it will show today as I am tired and very anxious of waiting.
Anyways, will update in the future...
This message is for anyone that has recently taken the test and feels that they didn't do as well as they think...
I took the NCLEX on Thursday, April 16, and I literally took the ENTIRE exam! Yes, that's right, 265 freakin' questions!! I did in fact pass on my first attempt, but I thought I was surely going to fail. I literally wanted to die because I felt like there was so much on there that either I have not heard of or just couldn't remember. I graduated in December 2014 and barely took the test now, with only a few days of studying before the exam (Yes, I know, stupid).
ANYWHO...
The point is, I wanna let everyone know that if there's anyone out there that feels uneasy about their performance, to STOP worrying!. Always remember this... Is worrying doing anything BENEFICIAL for you? Worrying is something that YOU are allowing yourself to do (Unless you have a Dx of OCD/GAD). Please, do yourself a favor and relax the best that you can, remember that you were in nursing school for a reason, you passed for a reason, and YOU WILL DO THIS! Statistically, approximately 86% of all new grad nursing students pass the NCLEX with their first attempt... if we had odds like that in the Lotto, many of us would be freakin' millionaires by now.
In regards to the Pearson Vue Trick (PVT), it DOES work! Its annoying hearing people say that it doesn't work all the time, blah blah. Everyone in my cohort did the trick and it was 100% successful, but you have to do it correctly!
1) Sign in to Pearson Vue
2) Select to register for the NCLEX-RN
3) Fill out the little questionnaire and other required information
4) Put in your credit card information with a CC that doesn't have sufficient funs or a debit card with no money in it (Please don't put in a CC with sufficient funds because if you fail and aren't ready to pay, it will take your payment)
5) Click submit, then you will be brought to the final payment page
6) YOU NEED TO CLICK SUBMIT ONE MORE TIME TO PRECESS PAYMENT!!
7) One of three pop-ups or notifications will generate....
1) The one that says... "you cannot reschedule an exam at this time blah blah blah..." This is the GOOD pop-up that means you did pass
2) The one that says... "your test is on hold blah blah blah...." This means NOTHING...it doesn't mean pass or fail..it could mean there was an error at the test center that needs to be assessed, your application was delayed or had an error, etc... you just need to wait, unfortunately.
3) The one that says... "your credit card has been declined, blah blah blah..." OR you get taken to the 3rd step...Sorry to say this, but you MOST LIKELY failed. It is NOT a guarantee fail because the tests need to be graded TWICE within 24 hours..so there may have been an error on the first one.
I know hundreds of people that have used this PVT and not one has said results differed, so trust it.
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!
Vinsanitii said:5 days has passed and i still have no clue if i passed or failedi only tried PVT 3 times and that is within 24, 40, and 96 hours post NclexRN. I dont want to check it again but with all those tries i have received the good pop up. Will update whenever i get the results..........
You DO have a clue. You are a first-time test-taker; over 90% pass. Odds are with you. You also got a clue with the PVT (glad you finally stopped yourself, LOL, but really you're going to make yourself insane).
Get away from the computer, you're doing yourself NO good! Go to lunch with a friend (NO talk about the test!!), walk the dog, clean out your cupboards, do SOMETHING else!

LVN licenses are not posted until you receive your pass letter and return the form with your licensing fee (which is in addition to the application fee). BVNPT has a two step process unlike the CABRN. It's often 3-6 weeks post passing NCLEX-PN that BVNPT sends out the pass letter. License is issued after the licensing fee is received and processed.
