Pearson Vue Trick 2015 Latest

Updated:   Published

Hi Everyone,

First, I just want to thank everyone that comes to this website to share his or her experience. This website literally keeps people alive and going during some tough times. You might not know it, but there are tens of people out there that quote this website each day.

My journey with the Nclex-RN in California started on the 2th of December. I took the Nclex, I went home and tried the PVT, and it gave me the good pop-up. 24 hours and 4 days later, I was still getting the good pop-up. A week passed and no result or license, I was anxious to say the least, as some of my classmates got their license within 48 - 72 hours after taking the exam.

I always came to this website to get some courage as the weeks rolled by. Finally on 31st of December, I got my license. The long wait was over.

My main reason of writing today is that through my experience, I found out that the pearson vue trick is not a trick. It is the way the computer is programmed. If one fails the Nclex, it will take your money or decline your card accordingly (for insufficient funds or being invalid). The so called trick works perfectly.

Secondly, If you live in California, and you get the good pop-up after 24 hours of taking the Nclex, you passed. The waiting time has to do with the BRN taking so much time to process files. Keep strong and keep faith, you will get your license.

Okay So to ease minds of people still waiting to test I thought I would share my experience.

I took my NCLEX on Wednesday, 2/25 and out of curiosity I tried the PVT (after I had to Google exactly it was) IT WORKED! I attempted to pay Pearson Vue with a debit card for an old closed account I had. I was nervous it would charge me otherwise. It told me I was already registered and wouldn't process the payment. I did this about 7 hours after my exam.

I completed my exam in 75 questions and was extremely relieved when it shut off. I was getting SATA throughout the test but got some right at the end so I knew I was doing pretty well. I did follow Kaplan's decision tree and got a 53% on QT 6 and a 60% on QT 7. Overall I did probably about 1,200 questions to prepare.

Luckily my state board updates so quickly I found out that I passed in less than 24 hours.

Know another person who did this... passed.

They released my hold and I got the good pop up !!!!!!! I am so happy.

I took mine in Ontario CA too on Feb 3rd. I'm still waiting for my results and it's agonizing. Lol I did the pvt and got the good pop up but it sucks waiting all these weeks.

Congrats to you all for the PVT trick that worked out for you. I am in agony reading thru everyone's story hoping it is similar to mine, but finding more stories of PVT good popup. I got the bad popup for a credit card w/ not enough funds so it said it was declined, which I take it as a bad popup. I am so disappointed and discouraged. I anticipate the same results around the same time tomorrow. Anyone in Cali hear if we can re-apply asap before the 45 day grace period since the application time frame takes weeks to process? I don't want to wait 3 weeks later to get the letter then time passed in re-applying. Any thoughts?!

Yes you can asap. I strongly suggest to literally make a trip to Sacramento with exact cash on hand no money order or check. If you have a permit bring your permit also along with your re-apply app. Trust me it is worth the trip because normally the mailroom is about 2-4 weeks itself then if you send a check or money order add another 2 weeks. I drove down and it was up fast because they don't have to verify your transcripts and bringing cash bypasses the check cashing process. Good luck hun

Hi, I just wanted to share my experience as well.

PVT worked for me too!

I took NCLEX Feb 26, and left the testing center at around 5:30 pm feeling totally defeated. I told myself that I wasn't going to do the PVT until 24 hours, because of it not being accurate until the test was graded twice. But for my own sanity, I caved in and did it anyway. I used a Visa gift card that only had around 30$ on it, tried to reregister, and got the good pop up. Yay, I was able to sleep that night.

I let 24 hours pass from the time I left the test center, again entered my Visa GC and tried to reregister...again, good pop up. Super yay!!!! I was excited, but still uneasy...What if I was the ONE person that the "trick" didn't work for?

So, yet another 24 hours pass, and I got the quick results. Pass. WoooooHooooo!

P.S. *****I am not encouraging ANYONE to try the PVT before 24 hours, especially with a regular credit card. Seriously, go to walmart or somewhere and get a visa gift card!*****

Still waiting. Since February 9th!!!! :banghead:

Just took my NCLEX yesterday at 11:00 and finished around 1:00pm with around 110 questions (I can't remember what number I was on exactly when it turned off). I tried the PVT a couple hours after and then again right now and still getting the good pop-up! Will try again around the 24 hour mark. I walked out of that exam feeling like I failed but I see that is the general consensus on this board. I get my quick results back tomorrow so I will let you guys know what I find out!
