Hey guys! Just took my exam about two hours ago, and when I tried the PVT trick I got a message that was like "your results are on hold". What does that mean??? I had 75 questions and about 20-30 SATA questions, but at the end I had a bunch of "Who would you see first questions" :( Help please!! I don't know waht this means and it's driving me crazy:(

The PVT doesn't work unless your results show as "delivered".

It does! It says "delivery successful"

Good luck with your official results.

are you taking the Hurst review?? I highly suggest it!!

hey I have a quick question did you just buy the hrst review book in stores and study that or did you do an oline review for like $300 something dollars???

I paid for the online review and got the book that came with the online course! It was great:) Seriously. Two other girls passed and they studied the Hurst too!

Grantsmom, I'm currently doing the online review now and hearing you say that makes me feel pretty good about my studying. However, I'm kind of at a loss as to how to study with the hurst review ( mainly when and where to do practice questions) Also, they don't cover a lot of diseases and as much as i love the review, that is a little discouraging for me. Can you be so kind as to share how you studied with hurst? Any tips/ pointers/ comments for hurst? Did you do all the 5th day materials? By the way, congratulations!!!

this is an example of how i studied:

monday:

* watch vidoes for fluid and electrolytes and acid base imbalance.

* practice questions

tuesday:

* learn everything about f&e and acid base imbalance in the hurst book (doing flash cards and re-writing)

wednesday:

* videos for burns/oncology/ cardiac

* practice questions

thursday:

* learn everything about burns/oncology/ and cardiac (flashcards and re-writing)

friday:

* go back over everything i have studied so far to make sure i have learned everything, and to refresh it all in my head. marlene hurst says "repitition, repitition, repition"

saturdayl

* psych and gastrointestinal videos

* practice questions

----------------------------------------

i kept going like that until i finished the book and videos, and then i went through the whole book one last time the day before the exam. by studying like that i was scoring 86-92 on her mock nclex question review, which i think is good since marlene says she just wants you to get more right than wrong!

the 3rd day before the test i looked over nutrition, point gait walking, and cranial nerves (just a few things she didn't cover) and also the infection mneumonic i found on allnurses.com! that helped me and a friend out on atleast 8-10 questions! i'll post it on this thread (i didn't come up with it though!) it works for sure! but that's how i studied, and i passed thinking "what is all the fuss about?" it didn't seem that bad at all to me, but then again i haven't got my official results in yet. i'm just going by the good pop up. i should be getting my results in by 1:45. i know you said you're worried because hurst didn't cover some things, well on my exam i didn't have but a few questions on things hurst didn't cover, and going through nursing school i did have a little knowledge on other disorders that i was able to bring back to my memory! :) :cool:

Thank you so much for taking the time to write all of that out. I like your method of studying....seems to make it all stick. Ive gone through all the videos/handouts (besides peds) and i'm going to start doing questions/repetition now. Once again, thank you and congratulations!!
