I wanted to share this information because just last night I was frantically searching for it myself and couldn't find anything current. The date today is 2/10/16. I took NCLEX yesterday and I know I passed because my name is listed as having an active license from the state. However, the Pearson Vue Trick did not work for me! Even right now, knowing that I passed, it is still letting me register for a new test!
So, if it lets you register please do not rely on this alone! You still may have passed!
I hope this is helpful to someone who is out there thinking they failed because the almighty Pearson Vue Trick didn't work for them!
Anxious waiter87, did you pass??? I've done the same thing you did. Took my boards today, I got a 250 ish questions (I know I didn't get them all) and the computer shut off. I left there in shambles, heart broken. Tried the "trick" when I got in the car. Got the first pop up that said I was already registered. Got home an hour later and tried the "trick" again and it took my mo RT. I'm heart broken, have been crying ever since and I feel like a complete failure. I'm hoping for something good. My test was scheduled for today all along, but yesterday, I got an email from Pearson saying they "unscheduled my exam". When I called, they said the center was having technical difficulties. I was so anxious and worked up, but still managed to get a time today. I feel like I was doomed from the beginning. My job is riding on this.
Don't be discouraged...I don't know if I have passed or not. I'm in Louisiana and we have to wait til something come in the mail.I was so happy when I got the pop up which stated this candiate has an open registration and a new registration can't not be created at this time...I screamed for joy got so happy called a few friends that had passed but they good pop up said our records indicate that you have already scheduled this exam so I got discouraged later that night I tried again and it tried to take my payment but card was declined...so I'm sitting on pins and needles biting my nails praying and trying to keep faith...bUT as soon as I hear something I would share this experience with you...Good luck to you and I both...let's keep our fingers crossed.
I took NCLEX last tuesday then I tried the trick the next day ans it says " The candidate has test results that are on hold. A new registration cannot be created at this time." Does that mean I failed?

That means your test is going under a QA/QC audit it takes approx 48-72hrs
Still waiting on my results took my test May 18th had 75 questions and just caved in and did PVT yesterday got the message "our records indicate... " hoping that it's a good sign!!! :)
I just took the NCLEX in June 2016, finished at 75 questions and for two days I did the NCLEX TRICK and the stupid trick did not work. I did it like 50 times and it took me to the end of the submission for reschedule. So ror two days i was freaking out thinking i failed it even though my gut told me I passed it. I payed for the quick results and there it was the big "PASS".
So long story short do not do the NCLEX TRICK, do not let it freak you out. It does NOT work!!!!!
take a break, wait the 2 days and pay for the quick results....

Now you right on that
