Pearson Vue Trick Feb 2016

Published

I wanted to share this information because just last night I was frantically searching for it myself and couldn't find anything current. The date today is 2/10/16. I took NCLEX yesterday and I know I passed because my name is listed as having an active license from the state. However, the Pearson Vue Trick did not work for me! Even right now, knowing that I passed, it is still letting me register for a new test!

So, if it lets you register please do not rely on this alone! You still may have passed!

I hope this is helpful to someone who is out there thinking they failed because the almighty Pearson Vue Trick didn't work for them!

I just took my NCLEX-RN in California today on 5/18/2016. I had 75 questions. Lots of SATA and priority questions. I did the PearsonVue Trick back in 2010 for the NCLEX-LVN and it was pretty reliable for my classmates. So I did check a few hours after my exam today with the wrong expiration date, but did not wait the full 24 hours. Yes I read the threads and you must do it after 24 hours because there is a 2nd grading. I will try again tomorrow when it is the 24 hour mark. I got a bad pop up I suppose? because it said the "CVC" was incorrect, though I had put in the incorrect expiration date. On CA Breeze, it shows under applicant activities, it has the option 12-RN Exam Repeat/Reapply Examination. Is that what everyone gets after they finished taking their exam? I will not assume this is correct until I check again in 24 hours and get my official results.

Did you get any result?

Yes, what I have heard and seems to be accurate a this time is that if you check your status and you get the pop up shortly after the exam, you are all good (this includes the extra 15 questions ).

However, some may get the bad pop up at first due to the waiting of the results of the second grading of the test (depending on your state). After the test is graded the second time without the extra 15 bonus questions, the pop up can change and show that they passed. Confusing, I know...

i am certainly confused/worried with the "trick" i wrote nclex yesterday in ontario canada got all 265 questions no calculations awful exam meds i have never heard of (as we dont use genereic in comparison to the states) and where i were prioritize those patients with those meds. Long story short i did the trick 1.5 hours after i received the email from Pearson verifying exam completion and got the good pop up with using my credit card and a different expiry date of 4/17. when i checked a little later i used a different expiry date not thinking of 2015 or 2016. it then said i needed to input a valid expiry date to which I panicked put other invalid dates in and ended up getting locked out. :( In Canada it usually takes few days in mail to receive results as we cannot do the 48 hours early results. has anyone had much experience with the new trick ways as it didnt say declined after my good pop up only that my expiry date was wrong and we apparently need that to check now......HELP

I took my NCLEX on friday, june 17, 2016. I went all the way to 265th question and I remember the last 10 were tough as nails. I went home, waited two hours and I logged in to my Pearsonvue account and tried to re-register. when I got into the credit info there was the good pop up stating "our records indicate...." with an red exclamation point inside a triangle. I tried it 24hours to 48 hours to 72hours, I tried to reregister using my right credit card info but I changed my expiration date and I still got the good pop-up. Finally, at 5 o'clock in the morning I saw my name up on BRN CA---I passed!! So for the people wondering if PVT still works, it does. The system will automatically recognize it and won't charge your cards. From what I understood you fail if: a.) it charges your CC or if it says invalid credit card info. Hope this helps. :-)

Just an update...... Received my mail confirmation Thursday afternoon and I passed í ½í¸Š 265 questions doesn't always mean you failed.

I took my test on 7/11 I did the Pearson trick because I got 75 questions and it worked for me I passed!!!

how did you know that you had an active license?

I just took my exam this morning at 8am...on Breeze right now NCELX RN application activities says RN exam repeat/reapply examination does that mean I failed?

hold long till the hold was out of your account?

I took NCLEX yesterday and got the "bad" response so this is giving me hope.
