Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

Thank you for trying to calm my fears, but it is a trick not something cast in stone. I am a person who needs something concrete.

PS I am obsessed with going back to PV and seeing if I still get the good pop-up and it keeps popping up!!

Has anyone called LVNPT lately to see what day they're on? I took the NCLEX-pn in CA on June. 26

Roxy_f, i took my NCLEX-PN on June 30 in CA. The wait is horrible, and i think in CA the wait could be up to 7 weeks? Have you been constantly checking your PVT results too, to check if the good pop up still shows?

I have been checking regularly....every time I get the good pop-up. This wait is awful:uhoh3:

Ok. So I took my NCLEX-RN on Saturday July 10, 2010 in San Diego, CA. I had 75 questions. Most were SATA type questions which I really despise! It took my 3 hours to take that test (I'm a slow test taker). I walked out of that room feeling totally defeated. It was a very hard test. I thought I had failed because I never get SATA type questions totally correct. I waited to do the PVT the next morning and I got the "good pop-up." That relieved a lot of stress, but I still didn't want to believe I passed. After reading through this forum, I started to believe that I did pass.

I found out today (July 13) that I passed by going to the permanent license verification link on the California BRN website. I searched my name and next to it was RN listed by it! yahoo!!! I guess even though California doesn't have the quick results in 48 hours, from all the nursing people that I talked to here in San Diego, their names have been listed on the California BRN website by 72 hours after taking the NCLEX. I'm still awaiting my official results by snail mail which takes at least 4 weeks.

Now is the hard part....actually finding a job lol

^^ Yippee, congrats!!!

As for me, took 148 questions this morning, did PVT when i got home after it said delivery successful and got the good pop up. not official yet but im a little relieved. I hope the trick truly works. I did the PVT 30 times today and got good pop up every time.

I'll update

I couldn't log into the pvt website and had to actually call them to schedule my NCLEX. I was wondering if after I take it Friday if I am going to be able to do the PVT trick? Thanks for any advice!

Did they tell you what the problem was and more importantly, did they fix it? If you can't log in, you can't do the trick I suppose. Good luck anyway.

Took the pn nclex sunday july 11th in WI and I did get the good pop up. I thought for sure that i failed! It was soo difficult!! Today i paid for quick results and......... PASS!!!! So this lil trick secret works for sure!!!!! Good luck everyone!! :)

Seems like it works for everyone who passed never see posts from those that fail. This makes me very skeptical. I am freaking out getting the good pop-up but feel there is no way I passed. It was the worst test I have ever taken.
