Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
I feel the same way wannabenurse. I took the nclex yesterday. The compute shut off after 2hrs at 75questions (Im a slow test taker). I got a good pop up, but im worry because i did not see my name on the BON website. Some of my classmates that took the exam yesterday was on the BON website already. Im praying that I pass.
The same thing happened to a classmate of mine. Three of us went to take the test together. The next day two of our names popped up on BON but hers didn't, however she was gettin "the good pop-up". Hers posted three days later, and she passed too. :yelclap:
just wanted to write a post for anyone who tries the pvt and gets the lovely 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.' message. i didn't see a lot of posts about it on here so i thought i would post. i took the test on saturday and couldn't get on the website until sunday due to the site being down for some reason and me forgetting my password...well when i got on finally i got that popup...it sucked everywhere on here it says your results will take longer, but i was able to get my quick results monday around 8pm..so not bad. best part of all i passed i took 75 questions in less than 40 minutes ...can't wait to get the letter in the mail now.

congratulations on passing i took 238 questions and feel like i failed, getting the good pop-up but don't believe it. i am so darn stressed.
It's common sense really. It works because if you think about it, the computer knows immediatly if you passed- the results just need to be verified. So if you passed, it stops you from registering because as far as the computer knows, this is unecessary due to the fact that you have already taken and passed the test.
If you have failed, the computer will let you re-register (taking you to the credit card page) because the computer doesn't know if you copmpleted the test one hour ago or one week ago-all it knows is you failed, so therefore you will be needing to register to retake it.
In the poll, two people claimed it did not work for them- this isn't impossible, but I find that dubious. In a nother post, someone mentioned that they knew someone who believed they got the good pop-up only ot find out they failed. Later on, this person realized they had done the trick incorrectly, and had never received the good pop-up at all.
