I made my payment in the Sacramento office with a check, it took 3 weeks for the check to clear, but my name was online before the check cleared. It took about 4 days for my name to appear online. Hope this helps:nurse:

MrsLRJ, Thanks for taking the time to answer my question. I went ahead and drove to the Sacramento office, I got my temporary license which allows me to work as an LVN until I receive the actual license in the mail. The temp license was no extra charge, so I went ahead and got it:nurse:

PVT definitely works.....I've taken the nclex twice. The 1st time I got the cc page and I failed, 2nd time I got the good popup and I just found out today I passed:dncgbby:

PVT works....I took my exam on Jun. 26, and got my results today July 29. This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, first time I got the cc page and I ended up failing. THis time I got the good popup and I passed. :nurse::dncgbby: I have a question: has anyone actually gone to the Sacramento office to get their temp license instead of mailing the paperwork in? I'm wondering if that will be a faster option. My pass letter says, it will take 3-4 weeks to process and receive the actual license in the mail.

I just got off the phone with BVNPT, after a long 70 minute wait. The woman told me they just mailed out JUNE 26 exam results. Kind of hard to believe but that's what she said.

I'm on hold with the BVNPT right now...estimated wait time is 45 minutes :zzzzz I will let you know what date they tell me they're on as soon as I get off

I have been checking regularly....every time I get the good pop-up. This wait is awful:uhoh3:

Has anyone called LVNPT lately to see what day they're on? I took the NCLEX-pn in CA on June. 26

I took my nclex-pn on march 11, did the PVT and went straight to cc page. 7 weeks later I got the failure letter. With the letter came a form I had to fill out to re-apply, then I had to wait another 4 weeks for that to go through. So all together, I had to wait about 11 weeks to re-take the exam.

The PVT does work, I took the exam on March 11, and went straight to the cc page. I ended up failing the exam. All my classmates that got the good pop up passed.

I used the Pearson EXAM CRAMbook. I answered every question in the book, it's not a big book but the rationales are amazingly helpful. I would suggest trying that book, it also comes with a CD and it was not too expensive.

pita027, please don't give up, you've worked too hard & too long to give up on your dream of helping people every day. I was so dissapointed when I found out I didn't pass. I must be honest with you, if I didn't have my parents breathing down my neck about this, I might have given up as well. But I had no choice, so I tried a new way of studying, I borrowed the Pearson EXAM CRAM book from one of my classmates and I did the entire book. It's not too big but the rationales are amazingly helpful. I just retook the exam yesterday, it cut off at 85 questions and I tried the PVT and I got the good pop-up (wouldn't let me register). I would suggest trying that book, it also comes with an awesome CD.

I just took the NCLEX PN today in CA June 26, 2010. Got the good pop-up, I hope we all passed. I will let you know....also this is my 2nd attempt at the exam, the 1st time I failed and I did get the cc page while trying the PVT.

I've taken the NCLEX PN 2 times, the 1st time was on March 11, 2010 and I got the cc page. 7 weeks later I got the official letter stating I FAILED I just took the exam today, 6 hours later tried the PVT and I got the good pop-up....even though I've seen that the trick works, i'm still scared and not quite sure how to feel about it. Now another torturous 7 week wait...I'll keep you posted on my results
