Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

I took my NCLEX-RN today (WI). I only had 75 questions. I had absolutely no confidence in any of my answers. I really do not think I passed. I felt the same way when I took the PN 2 years ago, then I had 155 questions. I tried the trick & got the good pop-up. I hope it is right. I will let you all know in 2 buisiness days what my quick results are, to verify if the trick was accurate for me. Once I know for sure that I passed I will be able to breath again.:yeah::clpty:

Texas must be slow, PVE is only showing that generic pop-up for me!

I took mine in Anaheim on June 15th and yes the wait is brutal! I haven't studied anything since I took the test and I like everyone else is just praying I passed! I have to believe that we will also be PVT success stories :) I was thinking about it and its now been almost 4 weeks of getting the good "pop up" and lets say (hypothetically) I didn't pass....my question is at what point would pearson vue allow me to actually re-register?!? I mean It will be 45 days from the day I tested before I get my results and if I did fail I could then at that point take it again....this is what makes me believe more than anything else that this "block" really is for those who passed :) I feel your pain and blogs like this show me I am not alone...I am praying for us all and I know we will get through this awful process!

I took my nclex-pn on march 11, did the PVT and went straight to cc page. 7 weeks later I got the failure letter. With the letter came a form I had to fill out to re-apply, then I had to wait another 4 weeks for that to go through. So all together, I had to wait about 11 weeks to re-take the exam.

Yikes! I really hope that this PVT works! You got the good pop up the 2nd time ;) looks like the 2nd times the charm for you....fingers crossed!

:crying2::mad::crying2: I have been an LPN since 2003. I finished my BSN in November 08'. I just took my boards on July 9th 2010. I know I waited way tooo long, but life, family and other unexpected life happenings came 1st. My exam stopped at 203 questions. I tried the pop up and it let me go to the credit card part. I know I "failed"! :( I tried the pop up with my LPN and it would not let me go any further, duhh, because I have my LPN license). I will receive my official results in the morning. Not looking forward to that. I had soo many priority questions. :crying2::crying2::mad::mad:

Can someone please tell me what "SATA" questions are? Does that mean you are close to passing:) Need some insight so in 45 days when I take again then I can llo for those type of questions.. I am sooo BUMMED!:crying2::crying2::idea::idea::mad:
