11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
From what I heard you can still get the good pop up and failed if the delivery status at the bottom right hand page show "unsuccessful." Did you try PVT the day after you have taken the the test? If you have tried PVT the day of the test, the good pop up might and still pop up if it showed "delivery unsuccessful." Good pop up is only true when it states "delivery successful."Sorry that you didnt pass, but brush it off and try again. Many nurses didnt pass on their first tried at NCLEX too.
i did try the PVT about couple hours later and it didn't let me continue. my account on Pearson is "deliver successful". but i'm just wondering if anyone here got the good pop up and failed.

Mine says Delivery Successful. I cannot register but my scores are on hold.
Does it mean I've failed.

If your score is on hold that could mean you're missing some paper work like transcirpt. Call them. I was missing my transcript also so, whether i pass or not it would take longer for them to respond to me since they have to wait for my transcript to arrive and review it. Please wish me luck. I'm dying from waiting. WIll not waste anytime though...i took my test 2 days ago and today i'm starting to review again.
Just another post in regards to the PVT, it worked well on this end. Swmbo had her test @ 8:00 a.m. yesterday, about 45 minutes from home in Atlanta traffic. My brother and I drover her, so she didnt' have to stress on the way in and waited in the parking lot for her (took plenty of good reading material).
Of course, she came out 4 hours later (185 questions?) a nervous wreck, even after studying for more than a year, while still in NS and very heavily after graduation on 7/31. We got home about an hour later and I got the "good pop-up" on PV and showed swmbo, and also explained/had her read some posts.
She was a little relieved, but not a whole lot. I "knew" due to all the posts here, that she was good to go, so I wasn't worried, but I also understood her skepticism.
Fast forward 12-18 hours later (this a.m.)....viola...her RN licenses is already posted on the Sec. of State site.....oh yeah! Called her at work with the news, and loved to hear the relief/happiness in her voice.
The PVT DOES work. Thanks to all who have posted prior to my post. We now have the 9th RN in our family.
