12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

If you go on the CA BON (rn.ca.gov), click the "Permanent License Verification" on the left side bar. Then on the following page, click "Board's Online License Verification System" in the first paragraph. It will lead to another page where you can type in your name to check if you're listed. Don't be discouraged if your name hasn't shown up yet. My friend who got the good pop-up said it took 2 weeks for her name to show up! So I guess it's different for everyone. Good luck!

I just found out today that I passed my RN boards!!! I did the PVT and it worked just fine. It also worked for my LPN boards last year. I am so relieved. Best of luck to everyone who is taking their boards soon. Believe if yourself!
I took my nclex rn exam today at 11 am and my computer stopped at 130.i was totally confused and really dont know what to do.i gather all my strength when i got home and did the pvt.i freaked out when i got the good pop out.i tried it like for 20 times and its starting to be an addiction.i took the nclex rn cali exam and just wondering how long do i have to wait for my official result and how reliable is the pvt?tnx.

So I guess the real news would be the exceptions to the PVT - good pop-up => fail or CC page => pass... haven't read of this happening yet. Still a lot of confirmations from the other side though. A bunch of people have in my class (California) have felt horrible after the exam, got the good pop-up and, sure enough, within a couple of days they are up on the BRN website with license numbers. I'm just passing the time checking the BRN and PVT every two hours or so (even though I know this is completely irrational, I am going for a run soon). I took my exam yesterday at 1400, finished @75, took my time (2.5 hours), got the "exam still open" pop-up immediately after the exam, went home and got the "good" pop-up, and have continued to get it this morning as well. Could I really have passed and become an RN? Felt like I got stupider as the exam progressed! hahahaha Well I am breathing but I won't be able to sleep until I see my name and license number on the BRN website.
Took the NCLEX-RN in NY at 1130 this morning. Tried to reregister online within 1 hour and got the good pop-up. I did some looking around on this site before writing this post and indeed did see people that got the CC page and they did not pass. I studied a bunch of different stuff that RN friends gave me, but really did most of my studying with the Saunders 5th edition Comp. Review book. I answered a couple thousand questions and felt like I was prepared, but was blown away by the test. I feel like I failed. I will let you know in a couple of days.
