  1. I just found out today that I passed my RN boards!!! I did the PVT and it worked just fine. It also worked for my LPN boards last year. I am so relieved. Best of luck to everyone who is taking their boards soon. Believe if yourself!
  2. la'monique - i graduated in may 2010 with my lpn and took my boards in october. i used saunders comprehensive review for the nclex-pn and it really helped me a lot. i recommend doing a lot of questions on the cd. good luck to you..you will pass!
  3. I just took my RN boards today after a very stressful week. My test shut off after 127 questions and I got the good pop-up from PV. I really hope I passed!
  4. Congratulations!!!!!! :anpom:
  5. I just took my PN test on Thursday and found out I passed today. I studied and did questions from the Saunders Comprehensive Review. That is pretty much all I did. I just made sure I knew a lot of the common drugs and contact precautions. Also make sure you know your electrolyte levels. Make sure you get enough sleep (I barely slept the night before..I was so nervous!) and eat breakfast. Take a deep breath and take your time! Good luck.
  6. Thanks! I learned it from this post: https://allnurses.com/nclex-discussion-forum/pearsonvue-trick-part-403722.html Good luck! :)
  7. I took my test today and got the good pop-up. Hope it is right!
  8. I wish you the best of luck Tammy! Remember to get enough sleep and take your time during your test. Remember to breathe!
  9. Thanks everyone! I just tried it and I got the good pop-up and was unable to get to the cc screen. I really hope I passed! I had 85 questions and 20+ were SATA. I took my test at 10:45 this morning. *fingers crossed!*
  10. Good luck to you too Tammy!
  11. Tomorrow is the big day and I am scared to death. I have been studying the Saunders Comprehensive PN book and I have been scoring 75% on average (I was scoring 65% at first but for the past 3 weeks I have been getting 75%). I am not good with the drugs (our pharm classes were really lacking and I also have a hard time memorizing them) and some of the questions on the CD were on diseases I have never even heard of. I am going to go over my electrolyte values and isolation precautions a couple more times today but I was wondering if anyone had any advice? Thanks in advance! Jen
  12. Hello, I am doing my careplan on a 2 day old normal newborn and am having problems coming up with client goals (I need 2 short term, 1 long term). My nursing diagnosis handbook is mostly geared towards the mom and has left little for the infant. Does anyone have any online resources that are helpful, or any ideas themselves? Thank you in advance. Jen
