3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
i took my boards 1-11-11 this forum kept me going for those extremely long 2 days i had to wait :heartbeat. i found out i passed the pvt does work and im officially anrn!!!!!:w00t:.also for those of you who get the hold message call pearson vue and ask them why..that's what i did and i soon as i got off the phone and tried again i got the good pop up!!! when i called they asked if i had any issues at the testing center and i did which is why it was on hold (minor issue with my last name). good luck to all those who are testing and congrats to those who passed and to those that didn't you went through the hardest part (nursing school) don't ever give up!
Just took my exam this morning.. 8am.. nclex RN here in CA.. WEnt up till 75qs.. Few hours after i did the trick. Got the good pop-up! :) I hope this really works.. Does anyone know when will the official results appear in the BON website?? I hate waiting.. too bad CA doesn't do the quick results.. But still hoping and praying that I pass.. :) TO God be the glory! Tc everone!
Took my exam this morning. I tried the trick but I could not go further than putting in city of the school. After that, it states that I need to narrow my search. I have been doing it over and over and get the same result. I also tried to put in my school's code but my school info did not show up. What now?
Then that is good pop up! And it indicates you passed :) Congratulations! I just took my NCLEX Jan. 14th, did the PVT, got the good pop up, and felt infinitely better. But of course I still paid the 7.95 2 days later to get official confirmation from Pearson Vue that I had indeed passed. But it works so don't worry!
