Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results
Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:
1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.
2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
Hello Allnurses,
I just want to say a BIG thank you to everyone who contributed their results after doing the PVT.
I have been browsing this site for many months now and I created an account today to add onto the already long list of users who have gotten the good pop-up.
I took my test in Gardena, CA on 11/27/2010 and left the test center feeling sick to my stomach. I tried the PVT as soon as as I got home and was elated to see the good pop-up. After 2.5 weeks I received my official test results in the mail saying that I have passed.
Thank you to all the people who have been sharing their experiences and test results. I have been able to sleep soundly because of your cooperation and now I am thoroughly convinced that PVT works.
Hi, I live in CA, took the nclex pn yesterday...I have tried the pvt since I got home yesterday...keep getting "good pop-up" but still very scared I did not pass, it stopped at 85 questions...the whole test was a complete blur...finished in an hour! I really hope this trick works...How long does it take to get results here in CA? some people are saying 3 to 4 weeks, and others got letters in like 2 weeks! So stressed!
Don't worry. I know it's hard not to worry right now but from my experience, the good pop-up allowed me to relax and enjoy life in the meantime. My official result came in the mail after 2.5 weeks so I'd say 2-3 weeks sounds about right.
You passed so the tough part is over with. Congratulate yourself and treat yourself out!:anpom:
