Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

This really works even an hour after the exam?

I did it about 2 hours just because I wasnt home before then

As long as it says delivery successful than u can do it

still waiting on my quick results..should have been in around 8..it is now 8:23 and not in....i a, getting very impatient!

Results r in!!! PASSED!!! PVT works!!!!:nurse:

I just took my NCLEX today. one of my classmates told me about the trick. I tried it and I got the "good" pop up! I hope this is accurate because I am already working as an RNA:up: (I was a patient care tech and my nurse manager and hired me before I tested) and if I fail I have to go back to being a PCT:eek:. I will post if I pass as soon as I know, in VA you can call the license look up line 24 hours after the test so I will be on the phone at EXACTLY 8am, lol...

I took my test today and got the good pop-up. Hope it is right!

PVT works i just did it... it gave me a good pop-up and i pass

Congrats to those of you who got your results today and passed!!! I cannot get my quick results until tomorrow morning!

Yeah me to i took my test last Oct.20 and today is the day that suppose to see the result but they are closed at the 4th friday of the month which is today..

by the way erinrp when did you took your test?

hello everyone, i am back to report my result. I just checked with person today and found out that my has released. so I did the trick first, and it showed the good pop. then I went to the quick result service, it gave me a good news too! I pass the exam with 75 q's! try to share some experiences with everyone, but just flew back to my country. I just wanna say to everyone who is gonna take the exam in the future, or you are still waiting for the result. a person like me, left the school for 10 years, dont really speak Eng very well, study by myself with other inf from websites. most of you are native speakers and newly graduated from schools, believe yourself that you guys will pass the exam!!! if a person like me can pass, and sure you will pass too! cheer up! and god bless to every test takers. will prey for everyone who needs to:jester:

Specializes in OR.

Took it the 19th of this month, went straight to the cc card and I was confirmed that I failed yesterday. So the trick is working. I left the school 15 years ago. I'm a French OR nurse. So if you have some advice because I really don't want to fail an another time. It's hard to study just by yourself even if you have Kaplan. I'll go through that, it's sure but it's so hard!!

Congrats, it's good to read some good experience like yours. Enjoy

Hey people, just took my test this morning, it shut off at 85. I had to guess most of the answers! Is insane that you have to spend months and months in school and when you take the damn test everything looks Chinese. Anyways, I've got the good pop-up and based on all the thousands of posts I have read here, I think I've passed. If I didn't, there is always a second chance. Just keep that in mind. Good luck everyone!

P.S.: In case I am the first person ever to get the good pop-up and no to pass, I will be posting my results on Monday one way or another.
