Part 1 (the original thread)--

Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?

Poll to take once you have received your response--

Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results

Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:

1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.

2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.

3) click 'register' on the right side.

4) click the 'credit card' link.

5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.

6) enter your username.

7) enter your password.

? click the button.

9) click 'register' on the left side.

10) select your test type.

11) click the button.

12) select your country.

13) click the button.

14) answer the yes/no questions.

15) select your country again.

16) select your state.

17) type in your city.

18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.

19) select your school.

20) select the month and year of your graduation.

21) select your board of nursing.

22) click the button.

Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.

Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick

@rnewell: when will you retake the exam? my name is still not on the brn-ca site and it has been a week since i took the exam, anyway i got over it thanks to the pearsonvue trick.. i am planning to register again today, hopefully i can schedule an exam anytime next month.. the first time i took the exam i focused more on content, this time i am planning on working on my test taking strategies.. any review suggestions?

hi we are in the same boat...

i took mine recently too and did the trick. it went all the way to the cc page... i got the result (just this morning)after 3 weeks of waiting (BRN California) and i failed.. :crying2:.. i sent right away the re application and wating for the reply of BRN california..

i will never give up. i want to be a RN before i die:).

we can do this! try lacharity. btw, do you think i can still go ahead and re-apply at pearsonvue without the official results of failure on hand?

Took Nclex rn this morning at 8am..75 questions..this was my retake since i failed in july. Did the pearson trick today and got the good pop up!! Last time i got the CC page and found out later that I did indeed fail! I feel much more confident today than last time. I just hope this is still a pretty good indication of passing! Has anyone ever heard of somone taking it for the second time and getting the good pop up but still failing???

I tried the trick yesterday after my test. I got a pop up. am half hearted and told myself will only believe if my paperworks reached me. Today, got a call fr my friends, she told me my license no. is allready in our nursing board.

and I pass... YES for me this trick works.

hi everyone, i just took my nclex rn last fri, oct,15. at 2:00, however, when I tried to do PVT, it shows "delivery successful" "your results are not avaliableat this time" i've been waiting for few days, I saw some messages from others, they got the results and they did even take the exam later than me! my board is NYC, anyone knows what situation is so far?

I'm sorry to hear of those who didn't pass. I would be crushed, and still will be if I didn't pass. As far as it saying "delivery successful", I don't know what you are talking about. But with the "results not available at this time"...that is NOT the trick! You have to try and register again! If you get the pop-up, supposedly you're golden. If you get to the payment screen, not so much.

thanks for the reply~I tried to register again,it wont let me register, cuz it shows that "the candidate has the result been hold....." someone says that didnt mean you pass or fail~so confused~:crying2:

ooh...yeah, not sure about that one. I don't know what the "hold" is...maybe they are reviewing your exam? Well, that might not be NOT failed! I wish you luck, as much as myself.[/i][/i][/i][/i]

I just said in my last post, "supposedly you passed!" and it edited it! I didn't swear...why did it do that???

OOPS!! I meant maybe that means you DIDN'T fail! That didn't make sense...sorry. I have heard that there are some rare moments where they review tests...so if you were close, they may review and pass you! Either way, good luck.

hey~thank you~no metter what I fail or pass. thank you for the time to reply and answer my quesiton~i hope god bless everyone to pass this exam!
