Part 1 (the original thread)--
Pearsonvue "Trick". Is this TRUE? Does it Work Every Time?
Poll to take once you have received your response--
Pearson Vue Trick - Poll once you receive your results
Here are the exact steps to see if you passed or failed the NCLEX exam on the pearson vue web site:
1) go to http://www.vue.com/NCLEX.
2) select the 'test taker services' tab at the top.
3) click 'register' on the right side.
4) click the 'credit card' link.
5) click the 'sign in' link in the second sentence.
6) enter your username.
7) enter your password.
? click the button.
9) click 'register' on the left side.
10) select your test type.
11) click the button.
12) select your country.
13) click the button.
14) answer the yes/no questions.
15) select your country again.
16) select your state.
17) type in your city.
18) click the button. a list of schools should appear.
19) select your school.
20) select the month and year of your graduation.
21) select your board of nursing.
22) click the button.
Very important: at this point, if you get a pop up that says 'the candidate currently has test results that are on hold. a new registration cannot be created at this time.', it has nothing to do with passing or failing; It just means that they are reviewing your records due to random reviews that they conduct, or because they needed to locate some data or papers, etc. This means you will possibly have to wait a few more days than your friends who did not get this message. If you get the message 'our records indicate that you have recently scheduled this exam. Please contact your member board for further assistance. another registration cannot be made at this time.', that means you passed. If you do not get either message and go straight to the credit card information page, that means you did not pass.
Your pearsonvue account must state that delivery is successful before you try the trick
here! here! cheers and congrats!!!!!:yeah:
:yeah:
:clpty::cheers:
thanks!!! i really hope the pvt works...because i am going to be sooooo freaking happy!! lol!!! the test didnt seem that bad...it was what i expected it to be, so i hope that is a good thing!!! good luck to everyone else taking it and also to those waiting on results!!!
I also took it today and tried the PVT trick and got the "good pop up." My delivery status was successful, but the website also had this sentence in red "Your exam results are not available at this time." What does this mean? Does the PVT still work for me? Did you have that also?I have so many questions! I just want to know if this affects the "good pop up." Thanks!
does your state participate in the quick results? sounds like it because my state doesn't and in red it says " your state does not participate in quick results" so it could be that your quick results are not available yet
yeeep.. slow bvnpt is taking forever. seven weeks for me will be next friday! im sure youll get yours on thursday cus all my friends has gotten theirs exactly in seven weeks! ugh this wait is takin forever. did u try the trick? keep me updated!
yep I got the infamous " good pop up" I have not heard anyone out there in may with results yet what going on may test takers
Ok....just took the NCLEX @ 1400...got done in just under 2 hours (75 Q's). Tons of SATA, infection control, meds, delegation & prioritization. I didn't freak or any thing when it shut off, I just kept telling myself there is nothing I can do to change anything now. I kept my cool until I got home to try the PVT...and felt like I was hyperventilatingtil I got the "good pop-up." I feel some relief, but won't feel at complete peace until I see my license posted at the MNBON.
foot note: I haven't been on all nurses since my mom passed away last January 8th. It took sheer will and determination to get through a very emotional/sad time for me. I am also raising an autistic child, and my car died a month and a half before I was to graduate....can you say "stress." I walked out of my final semester with a 3.57 gpa, and letters of recommendations from 2 clinical instructor's, and my preceptor.
So if PVT is correct I can call my self a nurse....but not officially until the BON posts!
PVT WORKS! I just found out I PASSED!
So I am officially now an RN!
Good Luck to ALL on PASSING!!
I got a private message about what made me so confident that I had passed after I finished the test, but I can't respond privately since I am a new member. To answer that, my faith in God that He was going to bless me with the opportunity to pass on the first try and I just had a feeling inside of me that I had passed when it shut off. I can't really say it was because I studied this book or tried that course because I did not really study at all because I did not know where to start. So I figured that I could not cram all I had learned from LVN school and RN school in a few weeks. Besides, I think I am a good test taker and I try to think through the options. I also read the question carefully and put it in my own words what it is really asking. Well today I got the official results that I passed the test, but I knew when I tried the trick on Monday and got the good pop up. I'm starting my job hunt tomorrow, wish me luck!

i took the nclex on the 25th... and i felt the exact same way! number one omg! it just shut off at 75 questions and then later in the day and by later i mean like 30 minutes... i guessed on a lot of those... i can't even believe i did not know one medication on the whole exam! did i really have to get sata because i always get those wrong on kaplan... and holy **** prioritization and delegation questions cannot be above passing standard aren't they just straight knowledge! i began to freak out! i had heard my clinical partner of three years speak of this trick... so i thought what the hell i have nothing to lose. i got the good pop up and then thought to myself... omg! i am going to be the first person to prove this wrong... well needless to say having guessed a lot, i found out i passed... i am not going to refer this to everyone i know because i see it works! so relax even though it feels like the worse test ever... you still passed!
