Letter of Explanation to BON due to Felony Conviction: HELP!
Ambition 21, You should keep your letter as brief as possible, get straight to the point, and be honest. Having a felony conviction, especially an attempted x2 assault, does not make you a bad person. To be truthful, it seems as though anybody can be charged and arrested for anything nowadays, and our judicial system is passed the point of repair, so personally, I would never put much weight on these petty misdemeanors (a friend of mine got a misdemeanor bc someone called the cops on his barking dog; the cops told him he had to get rid of it but my friend couldnt find another owner in time, and we not about to put the dog to sleep just bc he barks; so as a result, he was charged). Complete BS right, I think so. That aside, give the BON the info they need; tell them what happened, what you were charged with, and how your priority now is to move forward in your career. Everything will turn out fine, it sounds as though your "crime" is actually not a crime at all. Good luck!

does pearsonvue trick works in california nclex?
This is not a "trick", nor is it hacking. Pearson Vue, and only Pearson Vue, delivers the exam. After the exam is completed, the results are instantaneous, since it is done over the computer and the passing expectation is the same nationally. In many states, you have to wait 48 hours for quick results, that way you can pay the 7 or so dollars to find your results, but truth be told, you can know your results from one glitch in Pearson Vue's system, so called the "trick." Which is not a trick at all if you think about, if you pass, Pearson Vue will not allow you to re-register...why in the world would it? If you fail, it will let you re-register....why...because you are eligible to retake the exam based on your non-passing score. Why would you make it an automatic fail for someone to log onto their own Pearson Vue account, with their own password and information, just to see if they are able to re-register or not? Not hacking, there is no illegal activity involved whatsoever. Go for it! Speaking from experience, this glitch is very beneficial and has proven correct thus far.

Pearson Vue Trick - Does it Work Every Time? Part 2
Hey everyone...The pearson vue trick is very much true, no doubt. I am here in CA, took my exam June 29, checked the pearson vue trick 3 hours after my test and got "the pop up." I checked 24 hours and 48 hours after my test just to make sure, each time getting "the pop up." Today, July 2, 3 days after I took the NCLEX, my name came up on the CA BON. So, lesson learned: THE PEARSON VUE TRICK HAS PROVEN, TIME AND TIME AGIAN, TO BE TRUE. If you get the pop up, seriously, grab a bottle of something and enjoy, if you continue onto the credit card page, give yourself a few days off, and hit the books again. It takes about 3 weeks for us California nurses to get our results, so the pearson vue trick is pretty much all we have until our names are put up on the BON. Good luck to you all, take care :)

does pearsonvue trick works in california nclex?
"hi everyone. i took nclex last june 17. on the following day, i tried the pearsonvue trick. it was never successful. i always got an error page after more or less 10 tries.. this day, i tried it again, i was able to re-register up the credit card information. i was so worried because there has been several posts thats says, if you will get an error page you PASSED but if you are being pushed through the credit card part, you FAILED. in my case, i got both results. DOES this work with california? or to states only who have quick results? HELP!!!" I just took my test today in California as well, and I tried this trick and have been getting the pop-up. What did your pop-up say initially? Did it say that you are unable to reschedule and need to contact your board of nursing? I have tried it twice since finishing my exam, with the same results. California does not have quick results, and from what I have been reading, the pearson vue "trick" simply works. No one has specified whether it works for states with quick results only, and it worries me that it worked in your favor at first, but then did not. I will continue to check, but I do not know whether it works the same way in California as in other states. When do you plan on getting your actual results? I was told about 3 weeks which is just way too long to wait.

ATI exit assessment
I just graduated in May as well, congrats!!! Well, my program also used ATI but I have some personal issues with it, one being that it does not teach you how to actually go about answering NCLEX type questions, it really focuses on content. I took the KAPLAN review course, and it really broke down questions and introduced us to something called the "decision tree" which aids in answering the trickier questions. Also, I took the comprehensive exam as well, with a 90% predictibility and when took the Kaplan exam nearly 2 weeks later, I scored a 57%, SO... whether the ATI is accurate, I am not sure...my advice is to study from other sources, such as Saunders, Kaplan, Mosby...just mix and match and get yourself used to answering questions!!!
