Pearson Vue Trick as of August 2015

Published

So this is my second time taking the NCLEX RN exam and the first time I tried the PVT and got the credit card declined message which was heartbreaking especially after taking the entire 265 questions. Sure enough two days later I got the quick results with a big FAT FAIL. I just took the boards today August 15th 2015 and immediately check d the PVT as I had an accurate instance last time but this time I got the good message or popup. Of course I am still paranoid so I am waiting for the 24 hour deadline before I check again then I'm gonna check the unofficial results at the 48hour mark. I have been checking non stop almost every hour since I completed the exam and keep getting no the good pop up. I will keep everyone updated.

You can do it! I went to school 7 years ago took the test once didn't take it again until this past July and I passed. Keep us all updated.

I was searching this site non-stop since Friday, looking for someone else that had written all 265 questions and got the "bad" pop-up. I tried to have the slightest glimmer of hope that the PVT trick wasn't reliable. I found a few people saying that they got the "bad" pop-up but passed. I completely believe this to be false. I attempted a new registration and entered my credit information and hit SUBMIT (important part!) and sure enough got the credit card page multiple times. Got my CPR in the mail today- failed :( this trick is the real deal and now waiting for my second chance to show this exam I CAN DO IT on October 1st.

Do you believe that those people are lying? For what purpose?

I have been at this long enough to have seen some "bad pop ups" end up with licenses. Paid $200 sometimes...and sometimes just "card declined" (no funds attached to card). But they PASSED. You, it seems, did not. Better luck next time!

People see the "credit card page" as being a FAIL but do not know to go forward, enter the information and hit SUBMIT. believe me, I looked hardcore into this the past few days waiting for my result. Im sure there are freak instances where the system crashes though!

I hear ya, but I'm not talking about those. THOSE we (several of us who haunt this page, lol) do correct, and explain they have to actually submit financial data. It's not a 'system crash', per se, but rather a perfectly valid function of the program: it's designed to take your money if you give it willingly ;)

But I am not lying when I tell you that I HAVE SEEN those who did the PVT correctly, HAVE a receipt for $200 (or got a 'check with your bank, card declined' message) and DID PASS.

While they were ecstatic enough to find out that they actually passed, it's a stupid thing to do to pay $200 (or think you failed because of the 'declined' message) when it's just not necessary.

There are literally thousands of posts over hundreds of threads on this topic, and the turnover of the boards is fast enough that unless you check daily for new messages, you probably WON'T see the ones we're talking about (the ones where the PVT did not 'work'). But.....they really ARE there. It just doesn't happen often enough to be a very visible presence. Still....for those it does happen to....it sure makes an impression!

My friends and I have found it to be successful the next morning after taking the test to just check the secretary of state webpage and search our name and if its there you passed if not you probably didn't! It has been true so far for us!

Im from California and we do not get quick results. I took the NCLEX PN and the PVT worked for me and I used a valid credit card but wrong expiration date and name. You are supposed to wait 48 hours. It is supposed to take you to the cc page whether you fail or not. When I go to cc page I put in the information as described, and I got the good pop up. When I put the incorrect card information in, it said it needed valid credit card information or what not. Well today I got my letter 3.5 weeks later. I passed. Thank you Jesus. It worked for me, and helped ease my nerves.

Hi I took my NCLEX on July 28 and I'm still waiting for results ...person vue is giving me a message after I submit my CV info "OUR RECORDS INDICATE YOU RECENTLY SCHEDULED THIS EXAM ANOTHER EXAN CAN NOT BE SCHEDULED AT THIS TIME.... .Curious to know is this the same pop up you received

I took the nclex RN august 20th, shut off at 75 and felt good about it. I did the PVT a few hours later and got the "good pop up" and it helped my anxiety until I saw my name on the brn website om saturday morning with registered nurse next to it! Finally officially a RN!:)

Bratton...

First, CONGRATS in passing :)

I would like to ask your advice. I graduated 3yrs ago from an accelerated LPN program, and never took the test. Personal/Family situations have left me registering and not taking the test twice prior. I have spent SO much money between registration, fingerprinting, etc. that I have made this my last opportunity to take test (3rd times a charm?)...

I've been trying to study, relatively consistent (between f/t job, family, kids, etc..etc...) and yet, I feel like I'm reading things and not retaining.... It's been making me wonder if I have waited TOO long since graduation?!

What advise would you give me, and others out there, that didn't test right away? Because honestly, I'm feeling VERY discouraged. :(

Thanks in advance.

This may be the last time I enter the NCLEX forum but I want to update: As of August 24, 2015 the Pearson Vue trick worked perfect for me!I did the trick using a credit card with a $5 balance and got the good pop up immediately after the exam all the way until today, when I got my official (Passing) results from the Florida State Board of Nursing. The Pearson Vue trick works!!!
