Applied to PBSC RN Program for Spring 2011. Playing the waiting game. I decided to apply to the Belle Glade Campus.....

no nothing yet. they promised it would be the week after thanksgiving.

i emailed and just got this response about the background check...

"hopefully we will learn by end of this week latest monday of where to go for background checks"

this is ridiculous...and i am now leaving out of town for almost two weeks and that puts me in a difficult position if they tell us after i leave and i can't get it done before the 15th?

i am baffled because they have repeated the process of doing background checks numerous times before now. i just don't understand why it's so hard to figure out where to go?

it's a shame that the packet is arriving in pieces and we can't make any plans to go anywhere. this is beyond ridiculous... they need to fix this mess

Hello Everyone! Congrats to everyone who was accepted! I just learned about this site when I took the HESI yesterday.

This might be silly but, I have a question about our shots. I had all those shots when I was an infant that are listed on the medical exam form. Is that good, or do I have to get them again?

Since you had your shots so long ago some of them may require a booster. I would bring that information to your physican and have them fill out the form that was sent from the nursing program. You have to go to your physician any way for your Tb test and physical any way.

Hi Kristen16. I took the HESI yesterday also. I spoke to someone on the day of the exam about this website. Was this you ? lol! I was the guy with the Blue FIU jacket. I got a 80% on it! what did you get?

You might not have to get the shots again, but you will need a titer showing you are still immune.

I emailed PBSC yesterday and was told they are still working on figuring out where to go for the background check. Helllllooooooooo??? Does anybody actually work at the school??? Shouldn't they have had this figured out by now? They DO realize that we have to turn this in by Wednesday of next week right?
