PBCC-palm beach comm. college

Published

Hi everyone,

I'm in the process of study for the nurse Procalc and the NLN entrance exam for PBCC fall nursing program.

I read on line that this school works on a point system

I was wondering if anyone who has been accepted to the program

(past/Present) student: HOW MANY POINTS DID YOU HAVE TO

WHEN ACCEPTED TO THE PROGRAM.

Anyone with info about the program, would be helpful.

Thanks

Hi Diver, I am considering applying to PBCC, but I live in Sunrise. I was wondering if you still think the 55 mile drive each way is worth it? Are you still having a good experience there?

I sent in my application for Fall '09 last week; they evaluated it already and gave me 27.64 points. If the cutoff for January was at 25, I just hope mine's enough for Fall. :/

Hi Diver, I am considering applying to PBCC, but I live in Sunrise. I was wondering if you still think the 55 mile drive each way is worth it? Are you still having a good experience there?

I have gotten used to the drive, it takes me about 45 minutes from Pembroke Pines, there is not traffic on US 27. I like Belle Glade it's a small class, the professors are great, can't complaint. In a little over a week the first semester will be over. Yes, it is worth it.

Will you be applying for August or January?

diver dont forget to mention how great your fellow classmates are:bugeyes:

Yes Driver, Don't forget to mention that you have great class mates and we love our small class. Good luck to everyone applying...

Hi Mystical and Driver, Haven't seen you in a while. LOL. Good luck to everyone on finals...

Here I am again...applying for the 2nd time!! Just wanted to wish all those applying for Fall 2009 LW program good luck!!

To all those who made it in last semester: your first semester is just about over!! I am so curious what you all thought of it?! When you have time of course...

Hi, I am new in the forum, and I am about to apply for the LPN program at Lake Worth. Yesterday I went to the "open house". It was very good. I'm very excited about it. I have a few questions though. My transcripts from school are in another language, do you think I have to translate them? And, I've been leaving in florida for around 10 months. According to the lady at the open house, the Florida resident fee goes to people who have been leaving here for more than a year. But, my husband has been leaving here around 5 years and he's paid all his taxes. Do you think they will charge me florida fee or out-of-state fee?

Thanks.

hi, i am new in the forum, welcome hope you like this forum, tons of info here. and i am about to apply for the lpn program at lake worth. congratulations on career choice.yesterday i went to the "open house". it was very good. i'm very excited about it. i have a few questions though. my transcripts from school are in another language, do you think i have to translate them? yes you will, otherwise you might run into delays for being evaluated...but most likey they have their own translator. what language is it in? and, i've been leaving in florida for around 10 months. according to the lady at the open house, the florida resident fee goes to people who have been leaving here for more than a year. but, my husband has been leaving here around 5 years and he's paid all his taxes. do you think they will charge me florida fee or out-of-state fee? yes, you will pay out-of state fees. its your husband that has been a resident not you. but i think by the time school starts you will have 1 year status, so you should be good by then.

thanks.

I'm not expecting that it will be easy.. First semester was ok, should of prepared a little better and have been more discipline with my studying. Well good luck, let me know how things are going.
