So pathophysiology is not a requried pre-req for the program I am going to apply to.

But my microbio teacher said today that she had talked to some current nursing students who say they really wish they would have taken in.

So my question is - should I take it?

Don't take it, nursing school should be a suprise.

Well if you've taken all your pre-reqs and co-reqs, you might want to take pathophys. If you are counting on financial aid funding your nursing program, I'd check and see how extra credits may affect that.

i am in block one @ gcc and i am sooo glad i took it (and nutrition).

it definitely helped!

I highly recommend it. Even if you never go on for your BSN - it will help immensely with NS and the NCLEX. If you can afford the time and the $$ of the class - take it - without a doubt.
