The PVT is colse to 100% accurate, a lot of people that used it got the same msg and they passed. speaking from experience, I tried it and didnt not get the same msg as everyone and I failed so that tells me that it's pretty accurate cos I've seen it in both sides.I also did the quick result and it said I failed. This was after I had tried the PVT, so I pretty knew it wasn't good, I guess you can say I was hoping for a miracle. As the saying goes "experience is the best teacher"
just don't think about it. just prepare for the test, it's all that matters to the test. whatever your performance is, it reflects on your result. Quickresult is accurate, but BRN are the one releasing the official one.
In your case chillceb, how many days before you saw your name and license in the CA BRN? Is sat. & sunday included in the counting? I took mine last friday, i'm afraid to do the PVT.

Hi DOntra. i took NCLEX lat 2/17...tried PVT but "on hold" pop up came in. 2/21 was a holiday. 2/22 tried PVT again and it's already the "good pop up".. saw my name on BRN site 2/24 early morning...received the official result through mail the week after that.
it's basically 3-5 days after you got a good pop up on PVT if your records are ok and ur papers are complete on the BRN. btw, i tested under CA BRN.
try PVT it will lessen ur anxiety a bit. if u took it friday, if u pass, u will see ur name on BRN site Monday. good luck
pvt is accurate. l took my exams on 3/30/11. The site is 45 mins away from home. l was nervous, got home and went straight to pearsonvue site, did the pvt trick and got the good pop up. 48hrs quick results were in for me to check. l paid for quick result and passed. My name was on BON site on 4/1/11. so pvt trick works. good luck.

So I haven't taken my NCLEX yet. It's scheduled, but of course I'm not telling anyone when I'm taking it!
I was wondering though...has anyone either 1) got the good pop up but when they got their official results they failed or 2) paid for the "quick results," passed according to those results and then when they got their official results found out they failed?
I just don't want to get my hopes up 100% when I do the PVT or pay for my quick results when I take the exam...but at the same time waiting for the results would seem agonizing to me!
