Hello Everyone, I live in NYS and NPs are allowed to practice independently. I'm looking into doing some home visits on the side. I was looking into documentation software's especially e-prescribing; they are not cheap. Any advise, experience or affordable one out there? Since I don't know how this will turn out, I don't want to break the bank for it. Any advise will be much appreciated. Thank you!

Took my exam yesterday 4/13, tried PVT and I'm getting the good poop up. hopefully it's a good sign. Listen good luck to everyone who is preparing to take their exam, I'm sure you all will do good.

I took my exam yesterday and I've been getting the good poop up since so hopefully this is it. Oh gosh!!! I will jump up and down like a crazy woman if I pass.I hope I did since PVT is not letting me re register.

Update!!!!! Just took my exam yesterday 4/13 and I'm getting the good poop up so I hope this is a good sign after taking the exam the second time. I guess we shall see.

Guys I'm freaking out!!! I'm taking my exam in 2days after I failed the first one. However I'm freakin out because my average practice score is 68%. For some reason I can't get 70 and above, although I feel more confident and have done tons of practice questions. I have also learned and know more about how this question are set. The question is, is getting 68% on the practice test a bad sign? People say once you start getting 70 and above, it means you are prepared and likely to pass. Does anyone have any idea. I will be crush if I failed this again.

Same here,using saunders too. I failed my first boards so I hope I pass the second time.I had to give up my job so I can focus on practicing questions and passing my boards. Afterall without a license, I can't practice. I hope I made the right decision by quitting my job. Any advise from anyone who went through the same and passed the second time will be appreciated.

The PVT is colse to 100% accurate, a lot of people that used it got the same msg and they passed. speaking from experience, I tried it and didnt not get the same msg as everyone and I failed so that tells me that it's pretty accurate cos I've seen it in both sides.I also did the quick result and it said I failed. This was after I had tried the PVT, so I pretty knew it wasn't good, I guess you can say I was hoping for a miracle.As the saying goes "experience is the best teacher"

msmeka, If the congrats was for me, then thanks but I didn't take my boards yet, I'm preparing to take it for the second time and I'm waiting for my ATT to schedule the date.but thanks anyways.

Good job Janef, Unfortunately for me, I wasn't so lucky, I failed my first attempt and I'm preparing for my second attempt. I'm devastated and don't know what to do. I called kaplan but their next class doesn't start until june and I have to take the exam by April or else I will lose my job.Any advise? i have both the kaplan and the Sauders and thy are very helpfuyl. I think I took my board too soon and I didn't have time tostudy enough questions,besides I'm a very bad test taker and it frustrates me. I feel like I have no directions and I'm afraid I'm going to fail again and that makes me nervous. Has anyone be in my situation? I could use some advise and motivation.
