Ok, I have recently taken and passed NCLEX, but I still do not have my license number because I have a felony conviction from almost fifteen years ago. It has been over a month. I am about to go crazy. I constantly check the BON website a thousand times a day. I am about to go crazy...Anyone in a similar situation with a positive outcome?

hi. in FL, you can't take the NCLEX w/a criminal record unless you are "cleared" first. if you were allowed to take the test, then the criminal issue should have already been resolved prior. hmmm.....good luck.

In Illinois, there are some past convictions that allow you to still obtain your nursing license. It all depends on what the conviction was for, how long ago it was, and if you jump through their hoops.
Keep the faith and keep us posted.
