Hi to all! I passed the nclex last 2008. I just got my SSN last month as an employer based immigrant. Just a week ago, I submitted my Completed Application for Licensure by Examination including a U.S. social security number as instructed by the CA BON. My school also forwarded the needed documents.
My questions are:
Has someone gone through the same thing as I am?
What happened?
Did they release your license or not?
If yes: How long did you wait for your license?
If not: What did they say? Can you send me a copy? Did they make you do further studies?
--As i have said, I am on employment based petition, so with this, my employer is waiting for my license. With this, my life is on hold. I hope to be enlightened with this. Thank you so much.
Hi, no need for an endorsement coz your initial application exam was in california, nclex pass result is still valid, you have to rebuild your file by submitting a new rn exam application, just attach your nclex pass letter and ssn.
Hi. I passed nclec 2008 but just got my ssn.. When i resubmitted my application the CABRN asked me to submit my clinical cases.. Since i graduated 2007 i dont have a copy of that cases anymore.. The school said they cannot provide it and when i showed them that i have a copy of my cases and that i only need signatures they said that the CI was already resigned... Now i dont know if i can still get my license here in CA ... I cant go out of state because mu family is here
June 12 - i got my SSN ( I got it after 10 days). I did Live Scan
June 13 - I mailed my application to BRN
June 16 - BRN received my application
June 25 - My check was encashed.
July 30 - My name was added to BREEZE. License was issued!
I received the actual license in the mail after 5 days.
So my license was issued in a little over 4 weeks. 2 of my other friends got their license in 4 weeks time. The other one saw her name at BREEZE the same day as mine.

My advice to you is call BRN ASAP! Tell them that you have taken NCLEX (california) back in 2008. If you did not submit your NCLEX pass letter together with your application then you should mail it to them immediately. Give them the number that was on the nclex pass letter. Im not sure if they can still trace that you passed using that number but you should try it as well.
Thank you for all your advises.. It gave me hope :) i submitted my application july 4 thru breeze then aug. 21 i received the letter asking for clinical cases and academic calendar.. Yes i did include the letter i received notifying me that i passed the nclex exam.. Should i write a letter?
