  1. Use the licensure by examination. Then include your pass letter together with the form when you send them your application.
  2. @juicebar, I recently received my CA RN license from the board without having to pass the clinical cases. I'm not sure on what occassions they would request for an applicant to submit it, but i think it would vary depending on the submitted documents.
  3. Could be. Thank you for responding.
  4. Will it be against the law if a nurse in a skilled nursing facility is not given a night diff if he/she works pm and evening shifts?
  5. Is the night diff required as part of the pay when working nights or weekends? Or employers can just offer the basic without nightdiff?
  6. I'm so glad that you started this thread. I'm a new nurse too starting in LTC. Thank you everyone for the tips.
  7. You may opt to do that but it's really not necessary to resend it. The purpose of attaching the letter is to let them know what the docs are for. But I think they should be able to identify why you sent them your deficiencies.
  8. @raymay you are correct. Attached the communication letter when you send them you documents. Just send only those items that they are requesting.
  9. Hi ammeriemichelle, when did you submit your application to the cabon and how long did it take for them to inform you of that requirement?
  10. @Sfajrn from applicatiom date @chinita it's ok if you send them your school credentisls before you send them your application form. My friend did that and he still received his license. Not sure if the online option is ok for previous passers or if it's applicable only for first time applicants. If I may ask, did you still request for verification of license from PRC or just sent a copy of your local license?
  11. I passed Nclex in 2007 too and will arrive Ca on June 2015. A friend told me it took approx 3mos before he received his license.
  12. Can anyone ping the link/thread for this? I can't seem to find it. Thank you!
  13. @sem_rs i suggest you consult your immigration lawyer for the best possible option. When will your vt license expire?
  14. You will most likely get the same response. I called them around 3pm et. You can also click on contact us link found at the left portion of their webpage. It will send them an email and they reply via email too. Response time is the next business day.
  15. I had the same case. When i called cgfns to follow up on the status of my docs, they said it normally takes around 20 business days for your docs fo be reviewed before they update it as received. So that will take around a month (more or less) from the date it was physically received
