Hi, I’m sorry about the hassles you’re experiencing right now. I got my license because I took the NCLEX way back 2008 in the Philippines so even if I got here in the US last 2014 they still released my license. They did asked about the cases too and I submitted certification from my school. After that they sent me my license. Hope you get your license soon too. Best of luck.

Hello jim314 .. Yes my school submitted the transcript and the papers from the application form that needs to be filled up by the school. My only concern is now they are asking for my clinical cases which unfortunately i dint have a copy anymore. But i did submit a letter to them with the copy of the letter i received when i pass the nclex.. Hopefully they would consider me and release mu license soon. :)

Thank you for all your advises.. It gave me hope :) i submitted my application july 4 thru breeze then aug. 21 i received the letter asking for clinical cases and academic calendar.. Yes i did include the letter i received notifying me that i passed the nclex exam.. Should i write a letter?

Hi. I passed nclec 2008 but just got my ssn.. When i resubmitted my application the CABRN asked me to submit my clinical cases.. Since i graduated 2007 i dont have a copy of that cases anymore.. The school said they cannot provide it and when i showed them that i have a copy of my cases and that i only need signatures they said that the CI was already resigned... Now i dont know if i can still get my license here in CA ... I cant go out of state because mu family is here

Hi melai12 i dont know how to send private message here.. Yes i received a letter fromthe CA BRN asking for my cases.. Its holiday in the philippines now so i cant contact the school yet.. Im so worried i dont know what am i going to do if they decline my license application because i cant go out of state because my whole family is here in California

I dont think the Prc is keeping that files.. I saw one comment here that she tried to go to PRC to get a copy of clinical cases but they said they destroy the files after 2 years..

I worked 4 years as an operating room nurse in the philippines and 1 year in saudi arabia. Im contacting the my school now..luckily i have a copy of my clinical cases but there is no signature of the clinical instructors. The one with signature was damage during the flood in the philippines. I hope to find the people who needs to sign my papers... But im worried because from what i read in the comments here.. They dont acknowledge it if its not concurrent with theories

Hi.. I received the same letter from CABON asking my clinical cases. My dilemma is that i already took and passed the NCLEX in california way back 2008 and i just couldnt get a SSN during that time.. Now that i migrated here in LA i called then and asked if i could get a lisence and they told me to just submit the same requirements as i did when i was applying to take the exam and i dont have to re take the exam anymore.. Now after reading all the comments imworried that my cases is not concurrent with the theories.. Im totally lost now and i dont know how to proceed with this...

what did you do? do i have to call the california nursing board or i just need to submit my papers. i sent them an email twice but i didnt receive any response. im really sorry for being ignorant. i hope you could help me. thank uoi

hi, i passed the nclex last 2008 and i wasn't able to get SSN in 3years. i didn't follow it up because i thought that i will not be able to get to US anyway. now in God's grace im here in California and i want to practice my profession. i've read blogs that i don't have to retake the exam but i dont know the process. i hope you can help me with this. thank you very much
