Passed CA NCLEX 2008, just got SSN this 2012, applied for CA-RN license

Hi to all! I passed the nclex last 2008. I just got my SSN last month as an employer based immigrant. Just a week ago, I submitted my Completed Application for Licensure by Examination including a U.S. social security number as instructed by the CA BON. My school also forwarded the needed documents.

My questions are:

Has someone gone through the same thing as I am?

What happened?

Did they release your license or not?

If yes: How long did you wait for your license?

If not: What did they say? Can you send me a copy? Did they make you do further studies?

--As i have said, I am on employment based petition, so with this, my employer is waiting for my license. With this, my life is on hold. I hope to be enlightened with this. Thank you so much.

congrats to you guys. bdw im having trouble with my fingerprints. yesterday i received a letter from ca bon that my fingerprint card has been rejected by fbi due to poor quality of fingerprints. today i did another one and sent it. i just have a question though,lets say the second fingerprint will be rejected too. its say in the letter that if your fingerprint card will be rejected twice i need to do an fbi name check, has anyone come to this point, what did you do or how does it work? would it take a long time?your input will be greatly appreciated. thanks a lot.

Having a tourist visa will not get you a US SSN you need a valid work or immigrant visa

You need CVS from CGFNS for NY and the process can take up to 6 months and then you need to arrange for your NCLEX pass to be forwarded to NY

hi guys, everyone who is reading this, i just wanted to inform you that the ca bon had just issued my license and i am beyond thrilled and grateful. just wanted to share to everyone who has same situation as mine. there still hope for those who passed the nclex but wasn't able to supply the ssn after 3 yrs. hi jim congrats! may i know how did u go about the process of getting your license? how long does it take for the BON to process the application?

i submitted application for examination, nclex pass letter(2008), diploma, ssn, cheque, live scan then TOR direct from school last december and until now i have't heard from them . did i miss anything? the waiting time is driving me crazy pls enlighten me

i did the same thing as urs, submitted my docs september and my cheque was in cash a month after.you mentioned you submitted your docs december? you should give them a call at this point to check and follow- up if ur documents in their system already and check ur account too if they've in cash your cheque.. u can also sign in their breeze website and check and ur application status there.thats what i did! where do i check my status here? can u pls guide me? i mailed my application thru the local post office. this breeze site is for online application purposes only and not for checking the status...am i correct?

i already registered and this appeared... am i on the right website? they already encashed my check this January 7, 2015. how long would i hear from Cali BON? im having a hard time contacting them thru landline. i emailed them but still no reply
