I passed AANP last Wednesday and I can't believe it!!!!!! It was a hard test. I think it was at least. Some other people said it was easy but I didn't. Critical thinking was similar to our schools tests.
I did all questions from Leik and listened to holler cds. I did the Hollier Question book and 150 questions online. I was scoring 72%.

I bought the Fitzgerald online review so I could listen to the sessions up to 4 different times and whenever I wanted. Plus, I was really afraid that if I went to the in person course, I would forget everything by the time I took a test. I studied on 11 days over a three-week period, and studied all day on those 11 days. (The other days I had to work.). I thought it was sufficient.
I passed my AANP exam yesterday but I will say, doing Fitz only would not be enough. I did the Fitz review, bought her CDs and reviewed the Leik book. It was still challenging and there were many questions that had NO REFERENCE in both of those materials. I am happy to have passed and it felt surreal afterwards, but just know you won't know EVERYTHING. Just try to be as calm as possible so that you can apply the knowledge that you do know to help you.
Good luck!
I graduated from South University Aug 5th and passed the AANP on Sept 18th 2015.....
It was hard at times and easier at other times....I did over 1500 qtns to prepare, did the APEA live review and review book with qtns as well as the Leik book....my best advice: Do APEA LIVE review with study qtns and the Leik book for the exam tips for each section....at times the exam felt very difficult but if you know the material from those 2 books, your chances of passing i feel are great....also, do a couple of the predictor exams from APEA....VERY HELPFUL! GOOD LUCK!
Congrats!!!!! Which program from South University; online or campus? I'm finishing South in December(í ½í¹), and I'm debating if to take a live review or buy their reviews like Amelie Hollier or Berkley, and study from those. Also I have Leik, and other books to review from. I have been listening to Hollier CDs to keep all information fresh.

Congrats to you and everyone else who passed the test! I am taking mine tomorrow. I read everyone's post who had passed and took a lot of advice from them, so thank you to everyone who took the time to post. Hopefully I will add my "victory" story tomorrow night!
