I passed AANP last Wednesday and I can't believe it!!!!!! It was a hard test. I think it was at least. Some other people said it was easy but I didn't. Critical thinking was similar to our schools tests.
I did all questions from Leik and listened to holler cds. I did the Hollier Question book and 150 questions online. I was scoring 72%.
YAYY!

Congratulations hunnybaby24! That is fantastic!!!
Thank you for sharing your study sources.
I am taking the AANP FNP exam in 2 weeks and I am very nervous. I also completed the Leik questions and listened to Hollier. Did you find the APEA questions online helpful/similar to the exam? Also, do you recall if the exam followed JNC 8 guidelines or still JNC 7?
Congrats again!

Congratulations!!! That is fantastic :)
Thank you so much for letting me know.
JNC8. The Hollier Review helped. Listening to the CDs helped for the exam but i bought them 1 month prior to taking the exam. The murmurs part really helped with that section. Questions from the Hollier exam book helped as they were of similar hardness for the exam. Leik gave lots of pointers and I would also focus on those. But the test had questions from all over the place. The best place I found that helped me with the exam questions was from the content from our FNP program! Good luck, have faith in your self and breathe. Say to yourself, I will pass this exam and keep going even though you don't know the answer. Eliminate those answers you know are wrong and fall back on your FNP education. You will do well!!!
Good luck and best wishes on the exam.

I passed the AANP today! I found the APEA QBank and the AANP practice exam very helpful for exam content. Hollier live review was good for overall knowledge of content/practice as well.
Congrats!!! Woop! Woop! I am so happy for yah!!!!!!!
