According to aanpcert.org (AANP) "The 2015 AANPCP examinations were constructed and validated using clinical guidelines that were published by November 2014. Thus, references used for preparing the 2015 certification exams include the JNC 8 hypertension guidelines, which were published in December 2013." I am unsure about the ANCC exam. ALLOYRN MS, FNP-C

I took and PASSED the FNP AANP last week. The exam now follows JNC 8 guidelines. ALLOYRN MS, FNP-C

I PASSED the FNP AANP exam!!!!! It was an extremely DIFFICULT exam. Tons of cardio, women's health and peds. I attended Fitzgerald's live 3-day review course back in September, purchased the AANP practice exam, Apea Q bank (1 month subscription), purchased two predictor exams from APEA and reviewed Leiks FNP review book. I'm relieved its finally OVER. :-) ALLOYRN MS, FNP

Well, I've applied for both certification exams (AANP and ANCC).

FNP program.... I finally graduated two weeks ago! Now studying for the AANP certification exam.
