I just took my RN boards, and it honestly was the hardest test I have ever taken..Now i'm going out of my mind not knowing if I passed or failed..
The test started off, and from the beginning to the end i stayed at the same level to easier questions..The quesitons were repeated in like 5 different ways and it was so frustrating becuase I know that I was getting them wrong..I didnt have any dosage calcualtion questions, bairly any peds or maternity..I had psych drug questions and med surg and thats it..It shut of at 115, and I tell you it just kept asking me the same thing over and over..
I'm sooo upset..I dont know what to do..

Most people walk away from the exam totally bewildered, so, there is really no way to judge whether or not you actually passed NCLEX. But, I can see that the computer certainly worked with you longer since you went to 115 questions. I had some questions reworded in different ways for me as well. I hope that you did well, and that you can find out shortly (meaning within a few days) so that you can move on to your nursing career. Believe me, I walked out of there totally frazzled as well, but I passed with minimum questions. I hope the very same for you. Good luck!

Unfortunately, there's really no way to predict one way or the other how you did on that test. People have failed after being certain they "must have" passed, and people have passed after being absolutely certain they "must have" failed.
When you get the results, you'll know. Meantime, try to get your mind on something else, even for a little while, so you don't give yourself the mother of all headaches! Walk, run, shop, visit with a friend, go out to eat (or drink). Find a book that you know you'll like (or re-read one of your favorites: doesn't require alot of concentration, and you know it was enjoyable). Clean the house (my house was amazingly clean during the 48 hours I waited for results: kept me BUSY).
Best of luck to you!!

Take a big, deep breath et try to relax. I know that it is hard. There is really no way to know if you passed or failed until you get those results. Everyone that I have ever talked to about the test says that they walked out of it not knowing if they failed. My parents drove me et my kids there et took them to breakfast while I tested. Then when they picked me up, I got in the truck et cried because I knew that I failed. I was so upset I almost could not drive home from the place!! And then I found out that I passed. :smiley_aa
:balloons:Congratulations on passing nursing school and good luck!!:balloons:

I too felt like my test was the exact same type of questions over and over as well. I was cut off at 75, left feeling like I failed and found out I passed. I had no write in questions whatsoever.

I felt the same way and was on my computer every 10 minutes trying to get my results. We have the option of paying for them from testing center in 48 hours, but they never got them up. The state of Florida posted my license before the testing center. I did pass though. I was absolutely out of my mind by the time I found out.

If you tested for NY, they participate in Quick Results available thru Pearson-Vue for $7.95. Results are available 48 hours later after you test.
Not one of us can predict the pass or no pass as you have asked. You are going to have to wait for the results to be posted. And try to chill out, there is not a thing that will change anything.
Best of luck on your exam.

My test stopped at 75 question! All I know is that I think I failed the exam! Everybody that I know thinks I didn't! I hope God listens to them! I felt stupid after the exam, but wait to see if I passed or not is horrible. I can't stop thinking about it, but last night I had a night of sleep without any nightmare about meds or nursing!
