Hey everyone no worries at all....keep on posting...I created this post and I'm sure others don't mind also :-)
Yeah who cares! We r all trying to end up at the same place anyways which is becoming nurses. And olenkakim keep your hopes up! Also so many schools are opening their apps in a few month. The difference of starting dates for this fall and next spring is only by a few months!
Same here. It's my 4 rejection.
and I have only one school left. To be honest I don't think it is gonna happen to me this year.
Seemed pcc already sent out a rejrction mail today. I'm still waiting here..
OlenkaKim: dont worry you will get in somewhere. How many schools did you apply?
Congratz for jeli42.. I hope We will meet on summer class 2013 at Rio

Thank you for being so positive..we both need it because we both have been rejected numerous times already
rebeccles: I couldn't PM you since I don't have enough posts, but I'd like an invite to the FB group, are you making it public so people can join as they please?Regarding NLNAC acc. it looks like PCC had been acc. since 1970s according to this
http://books.google.com/books?id=PKGun5IqT9EC&lpg=PA19&ots=YEi0YVKNc4&dq=pasadena city college nlnac&pg=PA19#v=onepage&q=pasadena city college nlnac&f=false
They probably realized it was too costly to fly out nlnac visitors and pay them 10k a year for membership. I got that figure from LA harbor's operating cost budget proposal, you can find it on google. They probably think its more worthwhile to invest that in better equipment and labs etc.
I saw a job posting for the Vet Affairs which requires NLNAC/CCNE which gave me some worries but it passed when I realized I wouldn't be stopping at ASN level. (I volunteered in their ED, its really depressing)
Also, will this thread be dedicated to PCC or should we create a new one
Hey Brewin,
I goofed and made it private when I set it up. I will see if I can switch the group to be publicly viewable. If we do that, then will everything posted by viewable by the general public? I had imagined possibly putting contact info and meetup type stuff in there in the future. We will just need to be aware of what we post if it's public.
