has anyone applied to pasadena's rn program for fall 2013? has anyone been accepted into east pasadena's rn program? if so what was your pre-reqs grades? mines aren't all that great that's why i am so worried i will not get in because my pre-reqs gpa is only 2.79...do i even have a chance at getting in? please advise...so stressed out :( im not a bad student... i just don't have the time to study like im supposed to...i am a working full time single mother with two children and couldn't dedicate my time to so much studying...i was lucky if i even got 10 hours of studying a week

I got nothing from PCC until now! But anyway, I got 4 letters so far, two"Congrats" and two "sorries". I don't fell like homeless anymore.THank God. Don't give up, guys, we are all in the same boat![/quote']

I just called them today and the guy said "if u don't get the email by april30more likely u weren't accepted to the program. the rejection letter was send out from may 1". This is my 5th time rejection from pcc. :(

It's ok booboo12. At least you got in somewhere! I know it's farther from you and not ideal but just be thankful you got in somewhere :)

Thank u jeli42 to cheer me up. But I still don't understand why pcc keep rejected my application. I finished all my prereqs from pcc and I have 4.0 science GPA. Just B for English 1A. Are u guys who gets acceptance got A for English? Because I heard from nursing counselour pcc have a heavy count on English 1A.

I'm sorry, booboo12. I'm glad to hear you have an acceptance, but the "you didn't win the lotto" letter definitely sucks. Just remember it's no reflection on you.

Oh, and to answer your question, yes I did get an A in English. However, I still didn't get in last year, for what it's worth.

To my understanding they first go by the Chancellor's formula. If you meet the minimum requirement (I forget what percentage), they then do a random lottery. You definitely met the requirement but just didn't get lucky with the lottery :(

Thank u rebeccles. I know God has his better plans for me. maybe weren't my faith to finish my ADN program at pcc.

Do they accept transfers? Maybe you could start at Rio then transfer? Just an idea :)
