has anyone applied to pasadena's rn program for fall 2013? has anyone been accepted into east pasadena's rn program? if so what was your pre-reqs grades? mines aren't all that great that's why i am so worried i will not get in because my pre-reqs gpa is only 2.79...do i even have a chance at getting in? please advise...so stressed out :( im not a bad student... i just don't have the time to study like im supposed to...i am a working full time single mother with two children and couldn't dedicate my time to so much studying...i was lucky if i even got 10 hours of studying a week

From my knowlege CCNE doesn't accredit ADN programs, they do BSN, masters and doctorate programs so yes, for instance CSUN's RN to BSN programs specifically states this.

"An associate’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited institution" this is from CSUN's application directly.

I'm pretty sure Glendale Community College has an agreement with CSUN for a bridge to a BSN and Glendale is not NLN accredited as far as I know.

Umm they mean accredited by the Board of Registered Nursing.

I think the process of applying to nursing schools and getting in makes us over analyze and dissect everything to make sure its the right program, etc...I honestly would not let the NLN thing be an issue, you will be able to get into a BSN and MSN program. In fact the Dean at Western University, Mary Lopez is a graduate from the ADN program at PCC and she went on to get her BSN and MSN....don't worry! You're gonna be okay guiltsp:)

Thank you!!! I'm excited but scared because now I have to take the TEAS! Lol.

Comgratulations! Did she call you today?

How did you do on the practice exams for the TEAS? I scored an 83.3% on the science without really studying. Do you think it's a lot harder than the practice test?

That is really awesome! Better get a move on... Rio Hondo starts in 6 weeks!

I'm so happy for you!
