Pasadena City College LVN program 2018

Hi all! I wanted to start this thread to see who has applied or will apply to the LVN program at PCC for fall of 2018. I already submitted my application and if anyone has tried in the past or is already in the program please feel free to offer advice! Thank you! GOOD LUCK!

Its frustrating how they keep changing the times we are suppose to be hearing from them.

Omg, it's literally BEYOND frustrating. And the fact that it's so difficult to get in contact with someone from the nursing department just adds to the frustration

Does anyone know the percentage of acceptances to their program?

OMG seriously! It's fine if it's gonna take some time but everyone should get on the same page and give a consistent answer. I just hate that it keeps changing.

Im not sure what the acceptance rate it but the lady I spoke to right after the application deadline said that they take about 20 students and about 50 applied. She said usually everyone that has all their prereqs completed gets in. So maybe a lot of people turn in incomplete applications? But honestly Idk what to believe anymore lol! I just hope that all this waiting is worth it.

Lol I seriously hope this wait is worth it as well! And if that is true, then we should all be getting acceptance letters í ½í¸ I'm really hoping so. My anxiety is through the roof at this point

Went up to the school (Foothill campus) to turn in my CNA Cert. today and ofcourse the woman that is the head of the LVN program is on vacation until Monday, so I spoke with a representative that is the head of the RN program she assured me that she would leave my documents on her desk, and if i were to have any additional questions to call her directly and she may be able to sort it out. But she couldn't give any definite answers as to when we should hear from the LVN program

Oh my God that is ridiculous, I have been calling and haven't been able to get through and I was going to go up there tomorrow. Thanks for the update I would have made the drive in vain .

Nothing. But if I dont hear anything by the 26 am heading up there.and I'll let you guys know what they tell me
