Pasadena City College LVN program 2018

Published

Hi all! I wanted to start this thread to see who has applied or will apply to the LVN program at PCC for fall of 2018. I already submitted my application and if anyone has tried in the past or is already in the program please feel free to offer advice! Thank you! GOOD LUCK!

Nope nothing still:(

I agree, we definitely need to hear something soon! We still have ALOT to do before the semester starts, if we were to get accepted. TEAS, immunizations, etc.

Its frustrating. I think if I don't hear from them by the second week of June I am just going to have to drive up there. í ½í¸¤í ½í¸¤ it's not the first time I do it for just a simple question to sometimes even get an I don't know. I don't live close so am debating on it.

I am going to try and give them a call today see if anyone answer.

It is just so annoying having them tell us they will tell us mid- May and then they don't. I am fine waiting the whole 12 weeks but don't tell us we will find out earlier and then don't tell us. Agh!

Okay guys I got a hold of someone.

She said that they are just waiting for the evaluators to finish evaluating all of our transcripts. She said this can take up to 2-3 weeks because they are also evaluating the RN applicants.

so I think now we have a more realistic time frame, and a reason why. This still sucks. Lol!

also she did say that if we don't get an acceptance, rejection, or alternate email in about 2-3 weeks to call them.

Ahhhhh finally some answers. Thank you! Like you said at least now we have a more realistic time frame. Good luck to us all :)

Urgh that's such a long time.. but yeah at least now we know.

Oh my gosh, THANK YOU SOOO MUCH FOR THIS INFO!!! I guess 2-3 more weeks won't hurt us, but I'm definitely looking forward to it

Hey guys, what number did you guys use to get in contact with someone? I'm seriously getting frustrated from not being able to speak with someone that can help and answer a simple question about the program ☹️

Hey! I'm not sure if they were using a different number than the one on the website, but you can ask us in here we can probably help! :)

Hey thank you for the reply, but I ended up FINALLY getting through and speaking with someone from the health sciences department and the rep. spoke with the woman that knows all of the information in regards to admissions for the LVN program, and she told me that we should definitely get a decision letter by first week of July. :(

Its frustrating how they keep changing the times we are suppose to be hearing from them.
